It appears that the website is still updating? I get something different and more updated on a computer versus my phone. Also we can now confirm that all models of the iMac come with 16GB of ram.

The new iMac comes with a minimum of 16GB of RAM, compared to 8GB for the previous base model.

So that's like analogous to 32GB of memory, right?

Damn, you are right. Was almost going to say that this is the machine for most people. But nope. I knew it was too good to be true.

$1299 and shipping with 16GB RAM would have been a very good deal.

I just went to the Apple website and the iMac's all start out at 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Just like the song, "same as it ever was" Talking Heads

Good catch. I just checked again, and it does say M3 instead of M4 despite Apple saying “new iMac’s”. Would be amazing if it has 16GB RAM at $1299.

Tech specs says 16gb base / preorder says 8gb... They made similar mistake when Vision Pro launched (screen sharing changed from 1080p to 720p)

Is it? In the UK the website product page was still showing the M3 iMac even though the home screen was advertising M4. A few minutes later the product page has been updated showing 16 GB base RAM

edit: at 15:11 GMT the iMac tech specs page is showing the M4 configs, but the pre-order button still takes you to the M3 iMac page... sloppy, Apple!

I just bought a Maxed out M3 around December and this is great news! I'm glad they are keeping it up to date and having a base 16 RAM. I hope Apple never discontinue the iMac line, it's a great computer for the rest of us.
