Hi everyone, I'm new here. I've been scouring this board for over two weeks, though. I applied to the iOS CHAT position back in March and forgot about it. Two weeks ago, I got a call from a person informing me they wanted to interview me. She performed a very brief interview and then told me I would have a second interview over webcam in a week. So, last week, I had my second interview. It did not go swimmingly, due to tech issues. The interviewer was a super pleasant individual, though. Much to my surprise, I received a call yesterday saying they wanted to move me to the last interview in the process!

Now, I've read every page in this thread. But, I'm still just incredibly anxious and freaking out about this thing. I want it soo badly!

I have a few questions for those who have done the interviews for the CHAT positions. There is an abundance of phone stuff here and, even though I thought I was prepared by taking notes (yes, I'm taking notes here!) and clinging to every word, nothing really in my interview had been mentioned here.

I want to know, about how long was your third interview with Apple?

Also, what should I expect as far as question topics? Any specific examples would be appreciated, but I do not expect anyone to hand me anything in a picnic basket. I am just so nervous and I am the type of person who performs best when I know what to expect. If you want to PM me for privacy purposes, that is perfectly fine. Thanks in advance!

My 3rd took an hour. It was very relaxed. We role played on the chat more about technical questions but I still used empathy even though she told me I did not have to. She also asked about my previous experience and questions like "name a time when you had a angry customer and how did you handle getting their issue resolved" etc. She reminded me of the training and pay and all that and that was it. I asked her when I would know something and she said it could take up to 2 weeks but I heard back the next day. Don't worry or stress....You will do just fine. Just smile and be yourself!

Thank you dnewbie!!! Were the tech questions at all similar to those that have been discussed here?

Well, I have now applied to all of the current chat listings which is kind of sad, but hey. My availability changed a bit in terms of my start date so I'm hoping and praying and wishing...

So I just finished my second interview today. Went great, I really liked conversing with the interviewer and I got a third interview! I was told I'd get an email to schedule the last interview, but haven't seen anything for that yet. How long should you wait before emailing the interviewer back for that information?

Did your first interview call come from a a Cupertino number or no caller ID? I missed a call just now from a No Caller ID number but no voicemail. I shouldn't worry I missed an apple call right?

No, they'd leave a voicemail and an email if you miss their call. I missed my first call and they left a call back number and an email. It doesn't come from a No Caller ID number either.

Hi everyone! I just started my application with Apple and I'm very excited. Here's my question. Someone mentioned references a few pages back, but I didn't see where the application requests references. Does that come after the three interviews are competed? Perhaps with the background check? Good luck to everyone here!

Today I have my HireVue interview via WebCam and I'm nervous has anyone had a interview via HireVue? If I get hired I will be working for iTunes Chat Support any help would be greatly appreciated. My interview is at 2pm EST (1pm CST). :apple:

Has anyone heard of being denied after a background check? Having it come back clean and they don't get hired. I need to make a decision today in regards to the training position I am currently in, for a way less desirable position. I got an offer call on Monday and submitted my hireright paperwork, they only asked for one thing so far. I'm sure my dates are pretty correct and I have a w-2 ready for every job. No criminal history. Just really nervous...

Hi there! I did my first interview Monday for iTunes chat and will be having my second interview today about two hours after you. This will be my second time trying for Apple over the years, so I have interviewed through Hirevue before. Don't worry, usually the interviewers are very nice and the setup is simple. According to my first interviewer, iTunes chat is more customer service oriented, so just try to emphasize your customer service skills and willingness to learn. Good luck!

Thanks for responding so quickly!!! So since were iTunes Chat Support is our interview Via Chat or Via Web Cam. Are they going to be asking me questions directly or are they going to act like a upset customer. For example:

"My Macbook fell while I was running to class and I need it for my finals is their anything you can do?"

or would they word it as "You have a customer who dropped their macbook and they need it for their finals what would you do?"
