mine was the same across the board, which i was kind of surprised at just based on some things i had read on glassdoor. But its still wayyy more than my last job, so i wont complain!Yep!

I am still waiting also.. I think they go based on last name in alphabetical order and who knows... I had someone I know wait like 8 days for her official call back with offer. I am waiting alsoMy BGC has been on "meets company standards" since Friday and no official offer call yet. =\ Congrats to those who got theirs though!
I am not going to lie, I have seen tons of people between yesterday and today get the official call and nothing here yet I don't know how much longer my stomach will take it.
I know right! Ugh the wait for this is just like ugh... I mean yeah I know the background check says meets company standards and all, but what if it lies is my train of thought.I'm going through the same thing. I tend to freak out easily so I'm just trying to keep it cool and relaxed right now, but it's easier said than done.
Haha I'm sure you are absolutely fine if it says "meets company standards". Sounds like you're in. I'm doing it too, but I keep telling myself you have to think logically.I know right! Hey guys! So, I've been lurking on here for awhile and posted out of frustration after not getting a response for many, many applications. Well, I'm happy to say that after all that time I got a call (from recruiter) and I've now been through all three interviews. Now waiting to hear the next step, which I guess is an offer or not lol.
I had also applied 3 times before my call back. I made my survey answers more unique. Also highlight any foreign language you speak even if you don't think it's relevant. Once I did that, and rearranged my resume so my technical work was at the top of my "highlights" on my resume, I got a call the same day!Congrats! Do you feel like you did anything different to finally get called? Ive been applying awhile and have relevant experience, a good resume and cover letter, and have been referred by a current employee, and applied to 30+ listings, and nothing. Its discouraging!
Wow congrats! I know from reading the forum you had been waiting on your bgc for what seemed like forever! I'm happy you got the call!
Advice: all the questions being asked are addressed earlier in this forum. I believe that the forum has a search feature. At least it did before the update.
It was by searching for answers to my questions that I gained the confidence I needed to make it through every step of the process. I got the official offer call today.
I'll not delete any of my posts, and in anticipation of the upcoming nda that I'll be signing, my contributions to this forum are at an end.
Best of luck! It's most rewarding if you stick it out.
Final word of advice: be patient.
Yep!
I'm in the early August class-- given that my background check comes back clear-- which I'm sue it will, I've never even had a ticket. Anyone else early August? I'm hoping that the date will get pushed up some. But I'm happy either way!
Well I did not receive a call with a job offer, just an out of the blue email with a start date! I had to call and double check it to make sure it was correct! So excited super excited! I will be starting next month and not having to wait until August! On to putting my 2 weeks in at my current job. To be honest I am kind of afraid of this
I think it was 2 days for me!still waiting on my email to schedule my 3rd interview! lol anyone waited longer than 24hrs for it?
I think it was 2 days for me!
congrats! Now I have to look at my phone and my email every minute . lol
Got my rejection letter today. :/
Guess I'm going to start looking into other positions, and hope for better results.
Anyone have any luck reapplying?
Thanks! I never expected that to happen! I did actually, went back over my resume and cover letter with a fine tooth comb and made adjustments. The referral was my next option as my friend works for them in CA haha. I know everyone says it, but you just have to be patient unfortunately! There are many thousands of us trying for these positions all over the US.Congrats! Do you feel like you did anything different to finally get called?
