I would be so scared to give my 2 weeks since I've heard that training can be difficult for some. Bold move.

Well I'm not going to stay if I'm training Monday-Friday 10-7. At my job now you have to be available 40 hours a week. I am noted as a rehire just in case things don't work out.

It's going to be difficult to leave my current employer, because of the friends that I've made with the company, but Apple is going to be such a fun journey. It might be difficult but I'm always up for a challenge.

I can definitely understand both of you having to because of schedule overlapping. We'll think positively and say that we are ALL passing training!

Yeah let's keep our fingers crossed! My boss got hired as an AHA and he took the exam and passed with a 94% He said the class can be hard if you know nothing about iOS. I'm just going to take notes, and pray for the best. He said the test wasn't hard either.

Hey, thanks! Haven't gotten that change yet. It says "Pending" ... It was just done this morning. My background was squeaky clean though. I enjoyed looking at what they searched. Lol

With apple?? No I have not heard of that.
However I think ANY background noise, with ANY call center is a major issue.

I have worked with other WAH companies and have heard of people being terminated due to door bells ringing constantly, music, tvs, dogs and cats.

So if you are a chat rep that doesnt have to get on the phones or rarely you might be ok.
But if you on the phones alot, yes its a major issue.

Well I do plan on getting a no solicitation sign, so that will help in itself. I have a pretty good plan on how I'm going to keep them quiet majority of the time, but it's more when they hear my neighbors talking outside or other dogs bark.

Honestly, this is only a temporary living situation until we buy, which will give me many more options lol but it's frustrating.:(

Has anyone else had trouble with the I9 verification process? I feel like such an idiot! The first time, I filled out the top half of section 2 and the manager just confirmed correctness of the information. My fault for listening to the store mgr instead of making him follow the instructions. Had it redone by a notary since the Apple store is over an hour from me but the bank is only 30 min. The picture was too dark (still legible, but I guess they want it black and white for printing or something). Retook the picture brighter, and put it in greyscale so it was completely B&W. They told me in order to verify it to get my shipping label, I needed to send them a scan, not a photo... I wish they had told me that the first time though, since I sent photos every time. Edited the pictures so they looked like scans and not photos, (don't own a scanner) resent, and called. That guy told me it was okay to send photos in the email, as long as I mailed them the original copy and not a scan later... Unfortunately, the person who filled it out made a mistake and wrote over it (she initially wrote the date wrong, as 7-31-2015 instead of 7-30-2015) and now I need to have her initial the mistake and resend it. Ugh, my paperwork is due in a few days but I live in the middle of nowhere, so travelling into town is getting rather expensive... Hopefully the 5th time will be the charm.

So you can go into a Apple Store for help with the paper work if you are a WORK AT HOME rep ? If so is it required?

I bet you did great! It's always easy to second guess your answers after the fact. I'm doing that too.

I wonder how many people make it to the 3rd interview and then get the rejection email? I saw the post from someone who seemed like a good qualified candidate who was rejected after the 3rd interview.

I'm hoping that making it this far is a good sign.
Hello, Just checking to see if u have heard anything yet.,I have been checking my emails like crazy.

I'm currently in a HireRight nightmare zone. Made a typo on my part (past employment end date), they called and verified if it was a typo, told them yeah, and they said "Okay! That's fine. Just wanted to double check."

Today I received an email asking about the SAME thing, wanted to know why it was that way and something to prove it.

Of course when I emailed them back, they're "out the office" until Tuesday. Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Pretty sure this was answered before, but every job search thing I see says to follow up on online applications to strengthen your chances of getting even that first call.

Is there any way to do that here? I imagine not, since they're such a huge company with a very competitive jobset, but thought it would be worth it to ask...
