received call from apple. asking me for the information i sent into hireright, and a letter explaining the typo in the start date. i sent that information in, and am wondering if i should call and follow up, i feel like i call too much. she said 3-5 days. and it's day number 5. i'm just nervous and anxious, plus want to be able to give my job a two weeks notice. what should i do?

Question.... sorry to be a bother on here again... it looks like Kelly's search is only turning up outbound sales positions, so I don't think those are with Apple. Xerox's application process took quite some time, so for those of you that went through them, did you only have to put in one application or more than one? Did it matter if you applied for a position in an entirely different state? How long before you heard back? (I hear they are ridiculously fast, but then again, for some people, so is Apple....)

I had my 3rd interview today... They said I would have a September start date, however, it seems that everyone from July's posts were in September as well? Waiting for that notification for the BGC *crossing fingers!*

You will have way more than 2 weeks before your start date to give notice.

This forum is for AHA jobs directly through Apple, so I'm unable to guide you on application process of Kelly orXerox. For applying directly through Apple, you do not need to apply a million times for the same position and the state does not matter as it says that on the posting.

Speaking of that....

Has anyone heard of instances where people have gotten reprimanded or terminated due to dog barking?

I know it won't be an issue when I go live since I will not have customers hearing it. (I'll be email support) but I'm concerned about training.

I have 3 dogs and while I've worked with them (and will continue to do so) and they are generally pretty good, they do have their moments. And sometimes it takes a minute to get them to stop.

I need and want this so badly that I'm just trying to avoid any situations where I could jeopardize my career.

with chat it's not going to matter. I'm in class now & I know we are able to listen to soft music & have our pets with us. customers can't hear you, so you're good within reason :)

and someone had asked what was in our packages but you know I can't say! ;) worth the wait.

Man... They finished everything I'm my BCG except one job... I found a pay stub from the first month I listed and one that was 3 months from my end date. They said it's close enough to verify and acceptable,

So woot!.

Hope this is complete soon.

On my resume I have two jobs that are closed. After those jobs listed I have a job listed from 2008-2010 and my present job, from 2013 until present. Will those two jobs be enough? Should I list the jobs that I only held for like a month that I didnt list on on resume? I already called and got letters from both jobs I held down between 2008-2010 and my current job to speed up the process too

Guys I just did my orientation and all I have to say is this place is great. They actually care about you working there and want you to do good. If you are good with customer service then this job will be great for you. Hope to see some of you in training next week!
are you from TN and graduated in 1998??

Letter are not acceptable. If they can't reach them you will need first and last pay stub and or w2 to show first and last dates works.d you have a 3 month variance

I did a verification of employment on myself, they can call and verifiy them. Im just trying to speed up the process. Do you think I should list the jobs I only worked for like 3 months? They are not on my resume though.

Let me tell you this entire process has been stressfullllllllll, BUT

I'm done. I made it. Got my final offer call today. :) Wooohooo!

Congratulations! You should celebrate getting to the end of the hiring process!
I now understand why they say Apple employees are the best of the best - if you make it through this process!

Are you phones or chat? You mentioned a September start date, are you 9/14?

Stressful is an understatement! I just started the BGC process. No worries on criminal, credit, or any other checks like that - it's trying to remember dates & ending salaries for jobs from like 10 or 15 years ago! I'm gonna stress no matter what until that official offer! Holding my breath until the BGC moves to the completed stage!! ;0)

Does anyone know if you have to sign for the paperwork..got my email yesterday

I believe in an earlier post it was mentioned that you do have to sign. Comes FedEx so if there is no answer and a signature is required, they will leave a notice for you.

Congrats!

Hey fellas. I was chosen for the at home advisor position and I'm supposed to start next Monday. I was supposed to receive a call and an email this past Monday from my team manager for further information but haven't received either. Has anyone else been in this position? It's Wednesday now and I'm starting to get a little concerned. Think I should contact my recruiter?

I applied online for the AHA on 8/3, a recruiter called me in 8/4, and I have my first interview on 8/10. The recruiter was uber friendly and engaging. He also said the begin date is October, so it seems I have quite a bit of time to accomplish everything if they allow me to progress. It seems the most challenging part of the whole process is the background check. (The waiting for it to come back seems to have had many sweating bullets). Any pointers or advice for a new girl on the block just beginning the hiring process?
