with chat it's not going to matter. I'm in class now & I know we are able to listen to soft music & have our pets with us. customers can't hear you, so you're good within reason :)

and someone had asked what was in our packages but you know I can't say! ;) worth the wait.

That makes me SO happy to hear haha.

Has anyone been offered a position in email support? I had originally been offered the position for chat but because the class was full, I was told I will be doing email instead. I assume I'll just be responding to emails but I would still like to know a little more about the position before I start training haha.

For those of you asking, I did not need to sign for my paperwork.

I'm actually pretty positive that once the fed ex guy heard my big boy bark, he took off. He rang the doorbell and was in his truck by the time I got to the door .

I applied online for the AHA on 8/3, a recruiter called me in 8/4, and I have my first interview on 8/10. The recruiter was uber friendly and engaging. He also said the begin date is October, so it seems I have quite a bit of time to accomplish everything if they allow me to progress. It seems the most challenging part of the whole process is the background check. (The waiting for it to come back seems to have had many sweating bullets). Any pointers or advice for a new girl on the block just beginning the hiring process?
Go through this forum post.

Lol.

But.

Generally remember you make sure the client is okay first then the product. Make the client feel welcome and that you are joking, caring, and talking with the client on a personal level then worry about the product.

This is what I did to make it through the interviews but I feel my interviews were more about validating my past experience in dealing with clients.

Every interview is different. And what I said is not on behalf or Apple... I'm not an employee of Apple either..

Well yet.... Hopefully. Lol

I am too! 11 days seems like 11 years right now--I'm dying to get started! I've read over the "Welcome" e-mail a few times, but it hasn't yet quelled my enthusiasm. Are you both graveyard chat?

I'm not sure yet! They didn't specify. But I honestly can't wait. The waiting game is slowly killing me!

Hey guys, I've been following this forum ever since I applied. I've been going through the interview process since late June and finally got the official phone call today. I start early September!! Stick with it and don't get down on your luck. Be sure to check in on HireRight too. I was very proactive and disputed their claims. It was the most stressed I've ever been but the payoff was worth it.

I first interviewed for chat but im not sure i know its IOS now.

They never really disclosed that to me so it's a toss up! ha. I've been bugging them so much that I didn't even bother to ask on my last official phone call. All of my interviews were FaceTime based (no typing, just talking), and they were about phones so I guess it's definitely phones.

Congratulations! So Happy for you!

I'm just finishing up day 3 of BGC in progress, had to provide additional information which was sent within a couple of hours of request.

If you can expand on your experience with Hireright and have any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you and best of luck to you! Maybe we'll start around the same time. They will put "discrepancies" on your report without hesitation so make sure you tell them in detail why something is different. For instance, one of my employers listed my pay $4 lower than what I actually made so I contacted them heavily for a week straight. Comments will be added to the report too so make sure you are accurate and honest. In the end, it's up to Apple though. So even though HireRight is verrrrrrrrry tough, Apple understands that and makes the final decision.

Thank You for the additional information. Very helpful! I provided W2's & Earnings Statements so hopefully that will be sufficient.

If all goes well, my start date is September 14th. This blog is already creating teams of people helping and supporting each other even before the training begins! ;0)

Hey guys, I have my second interview for an AHA Phone position Monday. I see a ton of open positions for Chat positions but none are really close to me (new england). Any idea what the location requirements are? Do they even care where you live? Could I apply for a position in another state, regardless of how far?
