I'm excited to see so many new people coming on here for the November class!! Can't wait to meet my fellow classmates :)

I'm looking forward to getting the paperwork, get that done and out of the way :)

I know!!! I'm really excited too!!! It's been a little over a month since I submitted my first application for the position to having my BGC completed as Meets Company Standards. Even though it technically isn't that long, it felt longer because I was so anxious! Lol. Now, I'm waiting for my post BGC call. Hopefully it will come soon. It's been 2 days since it updated. I check my phone every 5 minutes and take it with me everywhere I go. Lol. I also want to wish everyone just starting this journey or going through your interviews good luck and sending positive vibes your way!!!

I applied yesterday and really hope it's not too late and that they might still have positions left. I really put a lot into my cover letter and I've been doing research on the process and anxiously awaiting an email or phone call from them back. I've been trying to apply for other internships too. It's been very stressful, but I really needed some experience and to me, this seemed like one of the best retail jobs out there while still being related to IT somewhat which is what I wanna go into.

The only thing I'm concerned about is if they were to proceed with the interviews for me how I would answer the customer service questions and be honest about how I haven't been in that kind of work that much before. I still meet the qualifications besides that and I really like how this job would be completely at home so I don't have to commute to work but still get that experience I need.

I know what you mean about anxiously waiting! That is the hardest part! Hang in there and apply for the newest aha positions listed even if they are not in your state. Is this the first job you've had? If so, use that to your advantage! Have you ever helped an old lady cross the street? Held the door for someone? How did it make you feel, when you saw it helped them? Have you ever had bad customer service? Why was it bad and how would you have handled the situation differently? Ponder these types of questions, you'll feel better about the customer service aspect. Empathy and ownership of a customers problem is what they really want to see in the interviews. Good luck to you!

I only applied for the one listed in my state because I go to one of the schools that has the program, but I might take your suggestion and try other ones just in case. I'd really like to do chat the most because that's what I'd feel most comfortable with and I can type really fast too no problem. Yeah, this would be my first actual real job that's not like freelancing or writing for someone else.

I've been doing other things to educate myself about technology so I'd also have that background to my advantage for the troubleshooting questions they might ask. I'm still kinda letdown after not getting this other internship I had a great interview for. Those people were nice and all but I really learned how to custom tailor my resume to each job I apply for now.

The reason I also went with the student version is because they don't require as much experience as the other positions they have.

For the people that have gotten an offer call for classes that start in November, is it for Apple Care?

I also wonder what the average time is for rejection email. I tried going back through the forum, but most people seem to drop off after a while. I would hate to wait 15 days only to find out I didn't get the position.

Some people have had to wait a month to hear back but that is more rare! It was a week and a half for me, some two weeks, if you didn't get a denial letter you probably have a call coming. Have you reached out to your recruiter to touch basis?

I haven't reached out to the recruiter because it has only been five business days since my last FaceTime interview. My thinking is the longer it takes to hear back the more likely I'll get a call. That's my wishful thinking.

Good luck to everyone in the interview process. I was here about 3-4 months ago and I really can't believe I'm already 3 months into my job with Apple. I'm working in iTunes Chat and absolutely love it so far. To everyone who received their offers already-- all the excitement that you are feeling is legit. This company is the best I have ever worked for. I love my job. My days go by super quick, I love my team. The training class is really awesome. It's a lot of fun and different than anything I ever expected.

Hmm, don't know why the post about waiting to receive hiring packet shows originally posted by me, but it wasn't. I wish I was that far in the process.

I'm still waiting on my post BGC call. It's been almost a week since my BGC showed meets company standards.
