Did those of you who received new hire paperwork get an email with a FedEx tracking number?
I got my paperwork yesterday Tuesday September 29th and got the email later that evening that If I don't get the paperwork to contact this person. The email did not contain a tracking number.

8 days post BGC call. No paperwork sent via FedEx or emails. Does everyone get a call prior to getting paper work? Does everyone get an email prior? Do you setup your conference call prior to getting your paperwork or after? Or should I just expect a Febex truck any day now? I'm waiting and I'm not quite sure which comes first... o_O
I know this won't help but it's just the waiting game we have to play. When I found out about this I applied well over 6 months ago and randomly got a call in August. So since that day I feel like a kid counting down to Christmas. Patience is your best friend. I didn't get my email about my paperwork till after I received the actual paperwork. I hope this helps.

Final interview over with. Definitely stumbled a bit during the roleplay a bit in the middle. We only did one scenario and the whole thing lasted just over 30 minutes. Can't decide how to feel.

I got an email from Apple today saying I've been invited to their hiring event at Apple Retail. My cover letter must have convinced them after all. I was really doubting that I'd ever get a response back from them but wow. Anyone have experience with going to those events? Should I go in a suit and tie or all of that? I'm still worried about not having previous customer service experience hold me back a bit.

Is the hiring event for the at home advisor position or for a retail store position? I don't think suit and tie is necessary. I think business casual is the best approach.

Yup that's exactly what it was. It specifically said retail even though I applied for the at home position. I guess they have more job spaces for in store right now. Besides that, I'm not really sure what else might have gotten me that invite but I'm very excited nonetheless.

I looked up business casual and I'm glad I don't need to wear a suit or tie for this. I feel much more comfortable in those kind of clothes.

I applied for the at home advisor position and I was contacted by a store manager to set up an interview. It seems everyone here is in the final stages of the hiring process for the at home advisor position. So maybe they are at capacity for that position for a while and passed our resumes onto retail? Good luck at the hiring event!

I wasn't even sure if Apple had any positions for students at their stores. I thought I'd have the best chance at their at home position. While I would have preferred that more, an invite is an invite for me and a possible opportunity and a sign that they were at least interested enough to consider me for something. I hope it's not any more challenging than trying to get hired for Apple Care at Home.

My recruiter just called me today and let me know he was still waiting on an 'okay' from the top. Considering how many people don't even get an email, I thought it was a nice to at least let me know.

The role playing went great with me. It was the open ended questions I ended up rambling a bit on. I can't stand open ended questions though. Mine lasted about 30 minutes but I think it went well.

I'm being patient, but this is hard. I've already turned in my two week notice to my current employer. I wish I had my official offer in hand. I will continue being patient. I was told it could take up to two weeks so, I have until Tuesday at the latest.
