I honestly feel like if you want to get an interview your best bet is to apply to the latest postings. I didn't get a call back from anything with old post dates. As soon as the Public Relations position opened up I applied. Got a call the next day. It doesn't matter where you live, most applications state you don't have to live in the area applying for.

All my paperwork is done, equipment should be here next week, and I start on the 15th. Good luck everybody!

Yay congrats! That's reassuring since they contacted you quickly! I hope training goes well for you!
As for the old postings, I really want a chat team position but all of those postings are old. I am still applying to them just incase but I also applied to a recent AHA position and hope that it works out. I know it doesn't matter but the posted location is near me. I also know a current AHA and sent her my resume incase she can get it to a recruiter for me.

I submitted my application on January 17 but have heard nothing yet. I figured judging by what I've read that it would take at least a month or more to hear back. I applied for the city nearest me, however, does it hurt to apply for a couple at once?

I'm just wondering what Apple would think if they saw I applied for 3 or 4 AHA openings vs. just the one I put my name in for.

Has anyone here worked for Apple once or knew someone who used to work there?

My question is how difficult is it to get re-hired if they had to leave the job or if discharged?

I worked there as an At-Home Advisor, a few years ago but got really sick and was discharged due to leave of absence policy, and was told I could still apply for re-hire though as told by employee relations. They tried every avenue to help and look into keeping me working. It was a huge mistake but would love to work again for Apple.

I've applied 3 times since Nov. 2015 but no new information yet. I still have hope!

Well I gave up on waiting for Apple to call me, :( and I applied to the temp to hires, I had an interview the other day with Xerox for an at home advisor position, pay is way lower than what I know Apple would pay. My question is has anyone ever been hired by Apple while working for a temp to hire?

If I'm not mistaken a group of new hires started training in January, right? And training is 5-6 weeks?
This is just my logic, but perhaps once those new hires are finishing with their training, the recruiting team will begin to fill a new group?

If that is the case, perhaps us who have applied Dec-Feb will start to hear back soon? Or maybe not. I just wondered if they hire & train in cycles.

The percentage you're seeing posted about on here and others talk about is one that you can only get by speaking with a Hire Right representative. You can either live chat with them or you can call and talk to them. When you do they may or may not give you that percentage right away, I have asked specifically for it from them and they tell me, they also vary on what they tell you, some reps will tell you whats missing others will just tell you its percentage.. If you ask they will tell you more, I have asked and they dig deeper, tell me what the hold up is. It has been a couple weeks for me since my background check has been completed and Adjucated as "Within standards" and havent got my call so I think all of us November people are all on hold so no worries if you don't hear anything ,we're all with you!
[doublepost=1457506606][/doublepost]I am so confused! I have an excellent customer service background, was a financial advisor for 9 years, have worked at home for 3 years and I have applied 5 times so far. Can anyone tell me a little bit about what you had on your resume that perhaps I don't. I even spent 100.00 taking a 5 week course for apple customer service knowing I wasn't going to take the job just to be able to put it on my resume. I just want a chance!! I have been an Apple lover since I bought my first MacBook Pro and have now had over 8 of them. Any advice on the resume or cover letter would be greatly appreciated because I don't understand why I have never been contacted! Thanks!!

Hey got a question. I have a friend who has applied and not heard anything back yet directly through Apple.

Can someone share where you go to apply through Kelly? And can someone give me a ball park idea of what they start at? Or is it based on where you live?

Thanks in advance. And feel free to PM if that is more comfortable.

Neither. Mine is a combination of email and phones. I applied back in October. Call back in December. First interview in January. Job offer a week after.

I have started the application process for AHA, but did not see any option for chat or phone. Where might one find this?

Upcoming interview for Technical support representative for Apple (through KellyConnect), and could really use a mentor.

Any advice on acing the interview Tuesday would be greatly appreciated.

Finally applied again now that I have some work from home experience under my belt. I didn't realize it had been March 2014 was my last interview (made it to 3rd before the "thanks for playing" email). Updated my resume and cover letter, and have applied to two locations so far for the At-Home Advisor position. I'm keeping my fingers crossed... I have a job at present but there are just so many issues with their equipment, I'm still recovering from nearly 2 months of not working due to them. Apple would be a blessing for me.

Hey guys just had my interview with KellyConnect and here are some of the questions they asked:

1. Why do you want to work from home?

2. What do you know about the position you applied for?

3. Why do you think you will be a great fit with the company?

4. What would you do if you knew you couldn't make it into work?

By the way I didn't get the job guys.

2 quick questions and I apologized if these have already been addressed somewhere else in this long thread, but I can't find it.

1) Do you have to apply to a job in order for Apple to recognize you or would they call someone for a position if they just filled out a complete profile?

2) Does the At-home Apple program hire At-Home Managers directly or will they only promote from within?

I have plenty of experience in both roles in other companies, and would like to go straight into becoming at At Home Manager and just wondered the answers to these 2 questions. Thanks for the answers!

1) From my experience I've completed every work-from-home job listing on the Apple website without hearing anything back.

2) I watched this video posted above:
seems he was promoted from within after a few months of service. Note that he works for Apple through KellyConnect a division of Kelly Services.

I have not ever been asked for a second interview, however I have had several pre-screen interviews with KellyConnect in fact I was able to select when I could have the interview. Sometimes all the slots for interviews were for and asked me to wait for an email alert when they had interview slots available.

here's a direct link to their page: https://www2.appone.com/Search/Search.aspx?ServerVar=kellyconnect.appone.com

Thank you for posting this. So basically, if I am understanding you correctly, one will not get noticed unless they apply for an actual position on the website?

I will definitely watch the video and look into this. I am in a supervisory role at my current job and have been for almost 2 years now and starting at the bottom would be a big cut in many ways for me I feel. So, thats why I was wondering if it was even possible to get hired directly as a manager.

Thank you again for the info.
