Second interview was today, and I was moved on to my third sometime next week. Interview was business casual. My recruiter was absolutely wonderful. More customer service based questions than anything else. Be empathetic and stress amazing customer relationships. Start date is sometime in February if I get the job. Good luck to anybody else that's interviewing!
So happy for you! Mine is today too. I am so nervous! Hope it goes well.

Actually had my third interview today with the Area Manager. It was even better than the first. Pretty much all "tell me about a time" and customer service. The interviewer was extremely professional and kind. Hopefully I'll know soon whether or not I made the cut.

Same here. I forgot to ask how long to wait to hear something... And he said "it was nice meeting you" and that was it.
So now I'm sitting here knowing I'll be refreshing my email every 2 seconds.

Anybody know how many past employers Hireright verifies? I'm trying to make sure I have all my w-2 information just in case. I've had 5 employers in the last 9 years and I listed them all on the background check. I've heard they only verify the last 3 though.

Having my final interview tomorrow. Are there a lot of tech questions or more customer service oriented like the second? Do they also do a credit check for AHA? My credit is shot and has a freeze on it currently. I can send a copy of the report if necessary just wondering what to expect if tomorrow goes well. This process is moving much faster than I anticipated.

Mine was all customer service questions. However I applied for a Public Relations position. My background check didn't say anything about a credit check. Just employer history and criminal is checked. Good luck! You'll do great! Just remember to stress amazing customer service.

I 2nd what Hubba said. I guess it depends on the position. I studied many technical questions and was asked zero of them. But my position isn't for iTunes or iOS though.
Just read through Glassdoor, and the last page of the original thread for AHA advisor on this website. It helped me feel prepared.
Best of luck on your interview! I know the nerves are crazy but typically the interviewer will be so nice and will put you at ease.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure I'm out of the running. I felt like it was going really well and then my internet had an outage because of the snow and wind halfway through my interview. The first outage that's lasted more than a few seconds. Murphy's law I guess lol. I'll definitely be reapplying if I don't make the cut this round. I'm not one to shy away from a challenge haha.

Don't think that! That's not your fault there was a storm. If they like you I'm sure you'll get an offer call. My background check was completed this morning. Never was asked for additional information so I'm hoping everything was verified without any problems.

Hi Everyone!

I am considering applying for an AHA position for part time employment. My son is getting ready to go to college and the supplemental income will be helpful!

I am currently a Realtor, which is a high demand customer service focused job. The good thing about my job is I can flex my schedule with ease, which is why I am looking for a position such as an AHA. I have a good amount of downtime during the day, so I want to focus working with Apple during those times.

My question is do you have input on your schedule? The description states hours from 7:00 am until 10:30 pm, so I assume a block of time during those hours? A 4 hour shift starting at 7:00 am would be ideal. How do you work your schedule...are your times assigned by Apple or do you state your availability times and you are scheduled from there? I want to make sure this is viable for me before I start the process of applying.

Any input on what my expectations would be is appreciated as I want to be able to focus the time required on AHA while still being able to be of service to my real estate clients.

Also, for those that have been thru the training, what is the schedule for that?

Thank you, and I have found this forum to be very helpful!

FYI Apple will more than likely pass on you if you have another job because availability the entire day is a requirement. Training is all day and then initial shifts are randomly given out with no input from you at all. Only after your initial shift period do you have a chance to influence the hours you work. Apple may also "flex" you up to full time hours as needed to respond to staffing requirements with little notice.

I am new here and have a question. I received my HireRight email for my background check and today the status changed to complete. I'm not really sure if that mean every was okay? I don't have any issues with my background and I provided all the W-2's they requested, I'm just a bit confused. Any help would be appr

Once Apple looks over the background check there will be a link for the completed portion of the report they do, it will say "Meets Company Standards" if you're good to go. Just had my new hire orientation to go over paperwork. The experience has been fantastic. Let me know if you have any questions, I would love to help as much as I can.

Day 12 after 3rd interview, 9? business days. Still radio silence from Apple. My phone has never gotten so much attention from me lol. Agonizing wait, but hopefully it brings some great news this week.

So may people getting call backs! I have applied four different times now... Since my applications are from last year do they get buried under new ones? I have 5 years experience, I do lead support for the company I work for now. Just don't know how to better my odds. Any suggestions?

I've read some people said apply at other cities online not just the ones closest to you. I applied to the 2 closest cities near me last week but haven't heard anything either yet.
