I got the same email a few days ago too. I wonder if we will get our equipment that Wednesday before Thanksgiving or the Friday after. Making plans to go out of town and want to sure I'm here to sign for it.

Do you mind if I ask how long you had to wait between the 3rd interview and the pre-background offer notice?

I got the job offer call about 2 days after my 3rd interview. Then the email for the background the day after my job offer call. I did the background check the same day I got it, that took about 3-4 days to process.

Wow that's quick. I did my 3rd interview around beginning of this week and was told I will hear the result in two weeks, still waiting, wish it was quick like yours.

Congrats on the new job!

That is quick! I applied for the student aha and had my interview... Said I'd hear back within 1-2 weeks, it's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything. :(

I applied to a foreign language position so maybe the decision will take longer? The interview process was also a little different compared to what people mentioned here....

Started as an AHA in January of 2013, been through a number of positions, but I left last month to join Google corporate. It can open up a lot of doors, if you play your cards right, especially for those of you in college and your 20s. Having 'Apple' on your resume is downright impressive.

Started iOS T1, within 3 months was full time T1 Chat, and within a year iOS T2. Moved up to Carpe Facto, and ultimately left as an SSE. I was making slightly over $28 an hour, base pay was about $58,000, not including overtime and stuff. You move up quickly if you have a high degree of technical prowess and aptitude, if not, get used to feeling like a cog stuck on the phones.

Hardest thing for me was working from home, as I absolutely hated it. I highly recommend getting an Rx for Adderall, I popped those suckers like M&Ms my 3 years in AC.

Great benefits, used their tuition assistance to completely pay for my undergrad degree.

If anyone has any questions, fire away...

i wanted to know if someone could help me out, i was recently terminated on basically no grounds and just needed a copy of the employee handbook pdf. it would really help out

thanks

This couldn't be more wrong, they give you so many chances... You must have really sucked at your job, or did committed some major policy violation.

It's been about 10 days since my final interview and haven't got any offer or rejection letter yet....the wait is killing me.

What's an SSE? Senior System Engineer? What was your field of study if I may ask?

My background check is complete! About how long does it take to get the official post bgc call?

Congrats, I wouldn't worry too much about the post BGC call, although the upcoming thanksgiving holiday may delay things a little bit.

It's been 11 days since my 3rd interview and I haven't heard anything yet...no offer or rejection email :/

Sounds awesome! When is the starting date of your training?

btw I just got a mini update email earlier today saying that they still haven't made a decision yet (after almost 10 business days later...)

Hi - hoping someone can advise me. I recently applied to be a college aha. I had my FT interview and I didn't think it was horrid but after the fact it must have not been good cause on the 6th day I got the dreaded "thank you for playing" email. I did have a hard time thinking of super impressive "have you ever had a situation...??" answers. I am confident I would be great at this job and am literally sick over it!! I hope for another opportunity. Does anyone know if second chances are given? or if you're ever called back? Thank you!

UPDATE: got called again and start next month

I just started as AHA and I didn't set up direct deposit yet. I have my mail set up to go to my Dads address. He is elderly, lol, and thinks everything is junk mail. Can anyone please advise me what I should tell him to be looking for on the envelope. Like Apple Corp. where the checks are cut from.
So nervous he will toss it out. :/

No worries your first two paychecks will be mailed out by FedEX & requires a signature so your pops will know it's important & not a grocery flyer. Woohoo I'm also in training now good luck!!! :apple::)
