Wohoooo!!! Congrats!!! :):):D:D:apple:
congrats!!!

I have a question regarding the time it took. I applied for the college position at home advisor. When I applied I got a phone interview with a recruiter followed by a FaceTime interview asking me the usual questions and scenarios... My FaceTime interview was actually before my web seminar. At the end of the facetime interview she seemed rather pleased with how I did and told me that I actually was in my final interview so congrats on making it that far. She then went onto tell me that it would take about 1- 2 weeks to hear about an offer. It will be a week exactly tomorrow and i getting a little worried, lol. I hope I get it!

Well to update whoever follows these posts such as I do. After receiving the final interview, and the offer phone call for the At Home Advisor position, they conducted a background check. I had posted my concern for this since my background was not spotless (nothing major) The background check status changed yesterday with the flu report to say "Meets company standards" needless to say I was totally excited! Today I received the call to congratulate me on being hired with Apple! Thank you all for your posts that gave me the insight I needed to complete this process. I look forward to November 30th for this is my start date!

Congrats. I start the 30th too!!!

I have been reading some info on HireRight, I have no issues with criminal and education background, but I'd like to know how much info they will ask in regards to employment history.

I'm currently working for our family business (been working there for a long time) and a contractor position for a company, worked as a contractor for a few months about 3 years ago, and had two jobs(one contractor and one full time, both happened about 3-4 years ago) that I had to quit shortly after I started them due to personal and family reasons at that time.

Family business and the current contractor position is not a problem, but the other contractor position that I worked and the two jobs that I had to quit are from at least 3 years ago and I don't have any contact with them now, should I disclose them with HireRight? Only one is put on my Apple resume and the other two are not mentioned because they are not relevant.

Ugh. I'm making myself sick over this. Had my three interviews, was told I would hear back within two weeks, interviews all went really well. It's officially two weeks as of today and thus far I haven't heard a peep. Not a call, not an email, nothing. Even tried to contact my recruiter to check up and never received a reply. At this point, I'm trying not to be pessimistic.

I currently work as an AHA but I have several friends and family trying to apply as well.

To those that are getting offer letters right now are you going directly through Apple or Kelly?

And to those that have went through Kelly before where do you find where to apply through them? I have tried looking for them and can't find it.

Thanks in advance.

I must say though it excites me that after almost a year from when I refreshed these forums like a madman there is still people posting, sharing information, and helping others trying to obtain one of the sweetest gigs in the world in my opinion!

I have worked through Kelly with Apple(2010) however this time just got an offer directly through Apple. I checked and do not see any apple posting for Kelly at this time

Finished my 3rd round interview earlier today, I think it went ok, questions are much easier than expected. And the recruiter said he will send the info to the recruiting department and I should hear back in two weeks, now the painful wait begins.

Good day everyone!

I stumbled upon this thread and could not help but to feel happy at the people supporting one another!

In regards to me, I have applied for the latest AppleCare Chat Team posting in the apple website which dates back to May 7th of this year. That is quite some time ago, which is of concern.

There are plenty of job openings for normal (non-chat) At Home Advisor in more recent times.

The reason why I applied to the chat team is because I have worked for many years from home offering chat support, so I am basically an expert at the wonders of keyboard arts. -_o

Jokes aside, I am planning on sending applications to the latest postings for At Home Advisor as well. My first application was sent at the beginning of November.

Nonetheless, I wish everyone the best! I am very excited for the opportunity in this position I am seeking with Apple!

*goes to the kitchen and enjoys an apple as she eagerly anticipates the journey ahead*
