Are you guys applying for the at home in various state listings or only your home state? I've applied for 2 thus far and get annoyed when filing out the same info twice I feel they should save this information
I was offered almost $16 then after the 3rd interview I got a rejection email, for no reason i can tell
I've worked with other middle man companies before, they were honestly bad experiences. Not at all what it would be like to work for the company itself.
They offered $18.40 per hour, that's more money than I ever thought I could make working from home.

From what I was told they really aren't hiring chat right now and most of the time do it internally, I also was applying for tons of chat and didn't hear anything then finally succumb to phones and got called immediately. Just food for thought. Good luck patience pays off, now three months into it and I start Monday.Ive applied for every Apple care chat position they have listed, hoping it would better my chances for an interview. For all the repeated questions I had to copy and paste the answers to my notes to make the process a lot faster.

Well to update whoever follows these posts such as I do. After receiving the final interview, and the offer phone call for the At Home Advisor position, they conducted a background check. I had posted my concern for this since my background was not spotless (nothing major) The background check status changed yesterday with the flu report to say "Meets company standards" needless to say I was totally excited! Today I received the call to congratulate me on being hired with Apple! Thank you all for your posts that gave me the insight I needed to complete this process. I look forward to November 30th for this is my start date!
Awesome! Thank you for the tip, which position should I apply for? I've already applied for the iTunes phone team and I'm applying for the Apple care right now.
Sounds like your on the right track. I'd apply to whatever recent position was, no matter the state/city. It makes no difference. I also had luck with going to virtual job fairs online and chatting w/ recruiters

I know of at least ten people I used to work with who started with Apple as a chat rep this year. They do give preference to existing employees however that doesn't mean that's all they hire for those spots. Many people don't want to do chat all day. From what I was told they really aren't hiring chat right now and most of the time do it internally, I also was applying for tons of chat and didn't hear anything then finally succumb to phones and got called immediately. Apple was hiring for chat positions externally this year and then they filled those positions, i have spoken directly with recruiters prior to getting hired and they said what I previously shared, not something I just made up!I know of at least ten people I used to work with who started with Apple as a chat rep this year. Thanks! Yeah I was a combat engineer so thanks for the heads up!It was veteran online job fairs. If your a veteran you sign up at http://veteranrecruiting.com
I'll warn you they reuse previous postings. For example let's say you applied for a position that was initially showing as posted last July and they decide to reuse that and just change the posting date it would then for example show as posted today AND show you as already applied.
To me that means if you weren't selected for that posting previously that you're automatically not looked at again simply because all that's changed was the date.
I could be wrong but I automated a script that applied for every open position a while back because a manager within Apple that I use to work with suggested it and now new postings show me as already applied when in reality I applied for the newest ones half a year ago.
