I'm just a bit scared. I had received a voicemail well over a week ago stating I'd receiving an email to set up a time to talk and I still never heard anything. It's been really nerve-wracking.

Thanks! Pretty much just like everyone else said don't focus so much on the technical questions as that can be taught. They're looking for more of your customer service skills and how you handle the customer.

That's great!!!
I don't have any background in troubleshooting so I'm banking on my customer service skills and my love for Apple products

I've applied to 33 of the At Home Advisor, and some of the At Home Team Manager. I've been doing this since October 5th. My profile and everything is complete but not only am I applying to the recent postings, I'm also applying to the ones that are over a year old as well. How long did it take any of you going into a class to get a call? I need something different and stay at home would be awesome.

Does anyone know if you can use satellite internet? I am looking at moving to this area where theres no cable internet available.. However, we love this house and hate to have this be a stopping point..

I applied to the At Home Advisor position back in July, I received my first call last week Oct.2015, and finished my final interview within the week. I had three interviews in all. It is now Tuesday of the next week only five days after my final interview I received the call today with an offer for the position. I am curious as to how intense is the background check, I was good with all of my employment dates, I didn't see any questions on prior convictions, or credit problems. I have a misdemeanor on my record five years ago, and I have bad credit will this hinder my chances of employment? Thanks in advance.

What was the hourly wage? Background shouldn't be an issue unless there's fraud related items.

Had my first skype interview this week and haven't been contacted since. I'm getting very nervous, it seems like most people were told immediately but the guy who interviewed me told me he was unable to tell me how the interview went...

Most satellite internet caps you for usage per day. So even though you have unlimited once your daily limit they slow you down. So example I work for a cell phone company and a customer has poor service they can get a booster from their carrier but it has to have a minimum of 1.5Mbs. Where I am located we have a lot of customers that have satellite internet and they can't even use that. So I would say it wouldn't work. Sorry for the drawn out answer but I wanted kinda explain why. Satellite internet companies are tricky.

I think I may have received my offer call pending BGC. My recruiter called and since I missed the call she just said she wanted to follow up with me regarding the position and to call her back. So at this point.. we're playing phone tag and I'm waiting on her call back. The phone call is a good sign right?

Going great!

This was my first full week live and it went awesome!! I have worked at home for almost 6 years and this was by far the best training I have ever had and they support you through the entire process. I work iTunes Chat Full-Time and don't think I could ask for a better job. The pay and benefits are amazing and love the job so far.... :apple:
Couple questions 1. Did you have previous experience? 2. Are you full time? 3. (Feel free to not answer) what did you ask for regarding pay?

You can find the hourly wage info on glassdoor.com. It's above 15 an hour but after that it varies based on cost of living for each city.

Hello everyone,

I originally applied for another corporate position at Apple and haven't heard anything about it, but then received an email this week from a recruiter saying that they like my profile and if I am interested in an At Home Advisor position.

I am not sure if I will apply for it yet since the position the recruiter refereed to is a foreign language AHA and requires pretty non-standard hours for my time zone. However I love the idea of working at home and the average AHA salary for my city is not bad.

Just have a few quick questions and I would really appreciate it if anyone could answer them

1. I believe AHA is an Apple employee position and not a contractor, but would like to get confirmation on this. Also, if it is an employee position, how would you rate the benefit package(not including the product discount)?

2. I understand that your location will influence your pay rate, but does the team that you work with (let's say iApps vs Agreement administration vs iTunes etc) and being part of the foreign language team increase or decrease your pay rate on top of your geographic location?

3. Will the AHA working experience be helpful if you want to move to other Apple corporate jobs in the future? (Assuming that you did great while working at AHA)

So I received an offer contingent on receiving a satisfactory BGC :) i'm SO excited! Now I can stop stressing
How long did it take to get your first call? Also do you have any experience with tech support? I know that was on the original questionnaire when you send your resume. I answered with I only have replaced ram. Which is true

Mostly wondering just because I'm going on two weeks now and hoping I get a response
