I just started as AHA and I didn't set up direct deposit yet. I have my mail set up to go to my Dads address. He is elderly, lol, and thinks everything is junk mail. Can anyone please advise me what I should tell him to be looking for on the envelope. Like Apple Corp. where the checks are cut from.
So nervous he will toss it out. :/

Unless something has changed since I was there 2+ years ago, checks are NOT sent via FedEx. They are mailed in a regular envelope via the USPS. I believe they say Apple on them. You can also contact the HR helpline for immediate assistance or concerns with your check.

I'll check with my trainer today but I was told by someone else they now mail checks by FedEX & require signature since they were having issues with people not getting theirs on time.

Third time applying... I don't know why I haven't received anything. I've been doing this line of work for 5years. Crossing all my fingers third time is a charm!

I've applied for the both AHA AppleCare and Chat positions. My original app was put in on October 29th, the chat one on the 9th of November. Unfortunately I haven't heard back. I even have 2 separate employee referrals. Hopefully I hear some good news soon.

Im in the same boat! I just looked at my profile and my resume wasn't there though so I figured I'd just throw in that and a cover letter too! I applied for Chat as well! Why not dip my toes in both pools right?
I applied on 12/6 for AHA Phones
I applied on 12/15 for AHA Chat!

I don't really have a preference! My Employee referral says that its a slow hiring time because of the holidays because none of his referrals have gotten call backs! It gives me some hope :) Hoping we hear something soon!

Hey everybody! Just wanted to let you guys know a new AHA position opened up today. It's called Partner Relations. I applied today and got a call already. It's supporting the developers for the app store. Might want to apply if you've been waiting for awhile to get an interview. Good luck!

Wow that's quick. Had my last interview about a month ago and still haven't heard back yet, no offer no rejection :/

Well I hope you hear back soon! I'm sure you did great, I think it's just taking awhile to get back to you because of how busy the holidays get. Keep positive thoughts! My first phone conversation went very well. I'm a little nervous because I think this version of the AHA is going to be different. A combination of on the phone and sending emails is what my recruiter said.

After 3 months from my first application I finally got a call from a recruiter. Patience is definitely key with this job journey we are all about to embark.
I've read both AHA threads on this website trying to get ready for my first Skype interview. I'm really nervous but I definitely feel more prepared thanks to those who've already been through the interview process.

Congratulations on getting the call. I'm nervous as well, but I know that's because we want this position so badly. Good luck with your interview!

Drug use screening at Apple depends on the job. They don't test retail store employees, but they do test engineers and managers.

Got the call this week and waiting for the background check email, will probably wait till after Christmas to fill it out tho.

For anyone who recently started working full time AHA positions, what kind of benefit are you getting? (Discount, PTO, insurance, etc) I'd like to see exactly what kind of benefit package they are currently offering AHA employees since I have another offer, both should be very close so I'm trying to make a decision...

If you are willing to disclose some of the details of the current benefit package of AHA employees please let me know and I will PM you, thanks!

And merry Christmas everyone!

I'm not sure how this company operates when you work directly for Apple. I would strongly avoid working for Kelly Services as it is the most unprofessional company to work for. they discriminate, and harass minorities out of jobs. the measley 10 or 11 an hour is not worth it. go back to college and get a real job. that's what im doing

Hi all,

I'm back again with a question. I applied early in the summer of 2015 and was contacted by a recruiter, did the initial interview, and was set up for second interview. After mulling it over, I ultimately passed on the job the first time (I cancelled my 2nd interview). I couldn't get past the fact that I'd have to work on holidays.

However, now I've applied for a role at the retail store nearby me, which is different than an AHA role. Since last time I applied, the company I was working for back then went under, and I was able to go freelance with some clients I had from my old company. (yes, I realize the retail store also = many holidays, but circumstances have also changed where this isn't such an issue for me)

So should I get to the point of HireRight with a retail store role, how would freelance work be accounted for with HireRight?

I started my own LLC with it, but I have no employees, and as the owner/CEO of it I don't have anyone to "verify" that time worked for me except myself...or HireRight contacting clients of mine. I don't really want them to call my clients, because I don't want clients to know I'm thinking of closing my business and leaving them out in the cold. I won't have a 1099 or a W2 because I'm a single member LLC and I put aside taxes to pay quarterly, and then I don't have pay stubs either because I write myself a check for salary out of business checking. I do have invoices etc. and payment receipts from clients if that helps, but they're in the name of my business and not with my specific personal name on it.

I'm a little cart before horse here, but I'd like to be prepared? Anyone else deal with freelance work + HireRight before and be cleared to start working?

It's no big deal for an AHA position. HireRight will simply return that they cannot verify for a certain time period. If you indicated on your resume what you are doing and tell HireRight that there is no documentation, that is all you need to do.

Second interview was today, and I was moved on to my third sometime next week. Interview was business casual. My recruiter was absolutely wonderful. More customer service based questions than anything else. Be empathetic and stress amazing customer relationships. Start date is sometime in February if I get the job. Good luck to anybody else that's interviewing!
