Not far at all actually… LOL… I applied a couple weeks ago and have heard nothing. I am not worried since it appears timing varies significantly from person to person.

As long as scheduling can get worked out, this might be a perfect fit for me.

Are you currently an AHA? If so, how long and how do you like it?

I am not, same boat as you except I applied last week. I know they go through periods of hiring. What position did you apply for?

Cool. Good luck! I believe I applied for the generic 'AppleCare' position. I don't recall selecting a preference or other position during the application process. You?

I understand No problem! I was the exact same way. It will come just keep checking they are very prompt... for me the process was quick.

Once you do the background check how long does it take (once the BG check is complete) for them to get back to you?

Early April was the date during the 1st Interview. Late April was discussed at the 2nd interview and during this 3rd interview, they simply stated "April". So...... I honestly don't know lol! Either way, I'll be ready :)

So I went to an apple store to get my i9 filled out and the manager emailed them off? I'm guessing, when I called hr records, they told me its not their (apple retail manager) responsibility to submit the i9 and copies. IIRC we were told not to leave store until confirming with HR records that it was received, none the less I was told it was something I could do on my own so I just left the store.

Manager also offered to send off my paperswork via FedEx. But I did not want to leave it up to anyone but myself to confirm that they did get sent off, so I declined. Nice gesture though.

C,Mon April.

Hey guys, new here I have been in contact with Apple for 3 weeks or so since the first call, I just wrapped up my 3rd interview today and she said I will definitely be hearing from them within about 2 weeks, as I feel the interviews went great! Very friendly interviewers and nailed all of the customer service questions.

In general, what time frame have you guys experienced them reaching out to you with a offer and a BGC?

The last interview I had said to give them 2 weeks to make decision, came right about a week in. And bgc form came in very shortly after. Not even a day, more like few hours. Bgc took several days but fell on presidents day so can't count that.

I applied in January got called the next day but process has been stretched out a bit. My guess is due to the April start date. Good karma sent yalls way. Havent heard of anyone getting the rejection email. Yet *____*

Same here, but my guess is that if I do get a call, it wont be for April, considering how long the process can take with the 3 interviews

From what i've read in the posts on this thread, customer service is HIGH on Apples priority list. So I am definitely keeping that in mind if they do reach out. If they are busy, maybe thats why the response might be slowed down, especially if they are finishing up hiring for the ios spaces needed for April.

I doubt that if they do call, they will be considering me for the April training, but if I do somehow lol, I am all for getting a group together :)

If I get hired in, I would also like to keep in touch with future classmates :D

But yeah this process is longer than last time. I had all my interviews within the same week. This time, it's about one a week. My third one is scheduled for the 10th.

I don't think there is anyone that visits here that is in the March 16th class...I think maybe one person mentioned they were interviewing for it but that was it.

I couldn't imagine having everything done, all paperwork sent back in, and just having to wait a month. I'd need to be put in a padded room!!

Hey everyone. What an interesting and nerve racking process this has been for me! I learned about this position from a recruiter that gave a little speech before class about the College Advisor program at Apple. He pretty much had everyone interested in the program by the time he finished.

Fast forward a week and I attended a college fair that Apple would be at. The same guy was at the booth and gave me more information about the program and told me to apply. This all was in February. Ill try and be as specific as I can. Anyways, after completing the application and questionnaire, I received an email for transcripts, about a few days later. After sending those in maybe a day or 2 later I received my first phone call interview. It was the general do you see any issues with the time schedule and how would you balance your time. He informed me that I would receive an email for scheduling the main video interview.

My Skype interview was on the 28th of Feb, so about 2 weeks after my initial hearing of this position. I rocked every part of the interview except the last technical portion. It was a question about fixing an internet connection. I gave a very thorough explanation on what it could be but forgot the most simple part of whether it could be the computer port itself. Luckily he didnt just say ok thats all, but helped me get through the problem through small hints. I asked him at the end how I did and he said he couldn't give me any information as Apple didn't allow it. He just said wait for the email, but in a friendly manner. I thought crap, everyone says that is the death sentence. Lo and behold a week later I get a call from a manager offering me the job and a start date of May 18th!

I was ecstatic and am now awaiting the background check. Not sure how long this takes but fingers crossed.

Has anyone ever got a call back from when you put "Yes" to "Spoke to a recruiter in the past 12 months"? I believe that is automatic decline, right? Has anyone lied about that?
