I don't want to post to much here as I've just been hired, and I heard they frown on employees posting on here. My hiring experience wasn't bad at all. The number one thing I will say for the experience was patience.

I originally applied for the position back in December, and I didn't get my first interview call until February 13. I had two Facetime interviews, one each week after the initial call. After they went through the interviews it took about a week till I got the " You're hired, pending background check". There were a few issues with my background check as one of my former employers didn't have the correct dates and position titles. If I told you who, you'd laugh, cause it would make sense. It was about 2 weeks for the background check and all that till I got the "Welcome to Apple Call".

Everyone I talked to was awesome, friendly and polite. I understand the reason for the process and as I said before it's all about the patience.

Good Luck to everyone who is still waiting

I've applied for several AHA positions over the past year. I am currently working at a Premium Provider (Apple Certified) store and service center providing in-person and phone support and troubleshooting, as well as training.

I have close to five years experience in this position, and I really want to work for Apple as an AHA. I've got a really good cover letter and all that good stuff, my work experience is very relevant, but I haven't heard a peep out of Apple and don't know whether my luck is just horrific, or if working at an Apple Premium Provider is actually detrimental to my applications.

I type over 100wpm, great written and verbal communication skills, multitasking maven, hard worker, wonderful phone voice, very high success rate in troubleshooting issues for Apple customers, and I shower regularly. I feel like I'm applying into a black hole.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. I'm clueless.

What state or country are you in, if you don't mind. Our employment history, skills, and responsibilities are eerily similar! I worked at a Apple Specialist and Premium Service Provider for the last 5 years until they just closed.

I thought it could be detrimental to my chances, too!

In any case, I'm waiting just like you are!

I have been able to pull up the report and as far as I can tell, there are no discrepancies. Everything looks as good as it can be.

I'm in the same boat. Mine cleared and was submitted to the hiring manager yesterday morning. The suspense may be killing me ;)

15 Days Later

I'm so nervous! It's been 15 days since my interview for the college program and I haven't heard anything. I was in touch with an Apple HR employee who suggested I call or text if I didn't hear anything within two weeks, but I haven't heard back from her, either.

Customer Relations At Home Position

I applied for the customer relations position and have my second interview this week. Does anyone know what types of questions are asked in the Facetime interview??

That's great news to be sure! About how long did it take between your background being completed and them calling you afterwards?

This was my first full week live and it went awesome!! I have worked at home for almost 6 years and this was by far the best training I have ever had and they support you through the entire process. I work iTunes Chat Full-Time and don't think I could ask for a better job. The pay and benefits are amazing and love the job so far.... :apple:

So I had a phone call interview last week and I just had the FaceTime Interview, the recruiter said that they were going to continue doing interviews during the week and that if I am selected I should hear from the team manager sometime next week. Is that a good sign?

Well I just got the tracking number tonight in my email. It shows they shipped it Monday and delivery was attempted this morning. Now I'm on hold with the # in the email to see what can be done about it. I just hope I have it by Monday or I'm going to look silly :\ Even though I updated my address numerous times with them prior to shipping.

Which address did you get your paperwork packet at?

I'm in contingent on a background check! Yay!! I'm elated but nervous that hireright will find some discrepancies. Although I did use them very recently and didn't have a problem.

If everything goes well I will be in the April 20th class.

Good luck to those applying!

All is fixed now after waiting on hold for almost an hour. They are contacting FedEx to reroute the shipment.

I didn't get a paperwork packet. All of my stuff was done remotely.

Any Kelly advisors for Apple what were some of the interview questions you had?

Very basic questions. My interviewer kind of role played with me and gave me scenarios of:

-brand new iphone dropped on the ground and shattered screen
-can't connect a wireless printer
-don't know what an app is or how to get one

She also asked me if I preferred Windows or Mac, if I own an Apple products and which ones (my whole house is Apple) and if I'm comfortable navigating on a Mac.

----------

Are you through Kelly or direct hire?

I'm through Kelly, which is probably why my stuff was all remotely.
