Just a heads up. If you think the interview process requires patience wait till training.

If you are someone that knows a lot about Apple devices, troubleshooting, etc then you are in for a long few weeks. Even after you take your first few calls and you run into one of those weird scenarios good luck getting an explanation. You'll be told that's too indepth, not enough time, gotta move on, etc etc.

The way I see it a monkey can follow steps 1-3 turn it off and on, check for this check for that. But it's those off the wall issues people really need to know what to do and you are SOL when it comes to that!!! Soooo be prepared!!!!

It's great working for Apple don't get me wrong. And I guess there is ****** you will disagree with at any job but don't think you are walking in the Pearly Gates when you turn that iMac on for the first time!!

I'm not sure what part I'll be supporting, iOS or whatnot. I don't recalling them saying. I'm fine regardless. Looking forward to it.

A lot of people think iOS chat is easier because you aren't talking to people, can listen to music while working, etc. However, customer satisfaction surveys in chat are ALOT harder to get simply because it isn't as personable and what not. But if you are looking to shoot for management one day, or make a career out of this then learning and getting trained in all the queues would be wise. The more you know the more valuable you are as an employee and the more they have invested in you :)

Oh I don't think so or they would have told us. I had to do video intros twice so far and we also come up often when answering questions.

Just a completely idle question; what are the specs of the iMac and other tech you receive as part of this?

Not sure exactly what all you are wanting to know but I got a 21.5"" iMac with 2.9GHz processor and also a 27" iMac 3.4GHz. Both with 8GB memory and a 1TB HD. Tier 1 won't get both. They only get the 1 21.5" iMac.

Hope this answered whatever questions you may have had!!

I have my 3rd interview tomorrow and I feel oddly calm.. It's weird. I thought I'd be super nervous like I was for my 2nd interview. :) Maybe I drained myself of nerves but I guess we'll see how I feel an hour before the interview tomorrow. :D lol

Congrats to all who got offers!
I hope I get to say I'm one of those people soon! :apple:

What headset is everyone using for calls? I was sent (from Kelly) a Plantronics Practica.. and the headset is awful. I can barely hear out of the ear piece and people say it's hard to hear me. I want to find something else that's relatively inexpensive.

Just had my third interview today for Chat. Not sure how I feel about the interview, she said I would hear either way in one to two weeks.

Good luck to you!

No I haven't but it can't be too bad.

How long is it taking everyone to get responses from the original application?

We are in the same boat. That's exactly what I was told today. The interviewer was so hard to read..
And now for the waiting game...
I have my fingers crossed for us both!
