If your start date was 4/6 you sure lucked up!!! 50% off the watch is the biggest discount since they gave all employees the original iPhone!

But thats good for 90 days after availability (not sure if that means after they aren't backordered or after they start shipping.). So people hired after that should be able to get 50% off as well.

That's a steep discount! What discounts do they have for the new macbook?

I submitted my info on 3/31 for the background check. When will I know if I passed? I've already had 3 interviews for the AHA position.

On the Hireright website it shows my background as complete on 4/6.

xxjonoxx, I submitted mine on 4/1 and mine was completed on 4/7 so I'm praying and believing for a official "Welcome to Apple" Offer call soon as well.

From the explanation I got basically 90 days from 4/24 is when the discount would be good for and then a more "regular" discount would be rolled out!

Submitted 4/2, Complete 4/4. So we will be notified through a phone call, not an email?

Question for AHAs

Hi everyone -
I am a recent hire for the AHA program (iOS) and went through three weeks of in-class (Adobe room) training. I'm now in week one of nesting. The team and I are finding it to be nothing short of chaos and disorder. Would you mind sharing your experience (with as much detail as you are comfortable doing so) and outline what your experience was for training time, nesting time, and at what point they had you on the phones without the one-on-one of mentors? This is just making no sense on so many levels and frankly...I believe that Apple would be shocked to see how their customers were receiving service as a result.
If you are more comfortable PM'ing me, that works as well.
Greatest appreciation in advance for any and all answers!!!!

I start nesting next week. Ah! My final exam is Monday.

That's great - I would really like to know how you find the experience. Mine has not been positive. Did you have three weeks of training? Are you on iOS support?

I'm on iOS support. I'm on day 12 of 15 in my training schedule in iDesk. I've had 2 days of mentoring so far with another session this afternoon. So far it's been positive. I love my trainer and my classmates. My mentor has been great and letting us take baby steps with the calls. Each session we add something new. I've taken a few calls to completion so far and feeling pretty confident. I'll have a full day of mentoring/calls on Tuesday and then after that it's on to nesting.

Oh wow...that's so different than our experience. Do you mind if I ask whether you are being trained through Apple or a third party/agency (I believe it is Kelly)? I too loved our trainer and most of my classmates - that has been the most positive aspect of my experience to date by far. I don't feel that we've had the "baby steps" that you've experienced though...lol....not even close. We went from baby steps to a full-on marathon. Please keep me posted on how things go for you from here!

My training is through Kelly. I'm not sure if nesting will be through them though. They haven't told us that much. We get a lot of chances to practice in iLog with out trainer - she will make a scenario and share her screen out and let us pretend to take the "call" and navigate the system. It's easier when it comes to mentoring. Our first mentoring day we could take the call to completion if we felt comfortable, but we only needed to get our greeting in, ask why they are calling, our 3 A's, and then we could hand the call over to the mentor. Tuesday we needed to add in a support eligibility statement, then could hand it over but I took all of mine to completion. I'm going to assume today we are to take the whole call.

I just applied to one of the chat positions that was posted a few weeks back. I got an email a few minutes after submitting my resume that read "thanks for your interest in apple. You have successfully submitted your resume... A recruiter will review your qualifications...".
This isn't the "thanks for playing" email, is it?

So I'm kind of nervous (ok, really nervous.) I have my first HireRight interview today. I was wondering, to the people who went through and got hired, did they schedule your next interview right away, or did they leave you hanging and waiting for an e-mail? Just curious as to what I should expect.

My recruiter told me she was recommending me for the 3rd interview and an email would follow up, in which I would pick a time. The email came within an hr of us ending the HireRight interview.

Good luck! Breathe! I'm sure you'll do fine! :)
