LOL 9/10 person here. We have an upcoming exam next week known as "the widow maker". That's all I'm gonna say.

We had our 2nd exam yesterday. We lost one person in our class. :( They stick to the minimum grade requirements. Absolutely no flexibility. Caution for those who are leaving their gigs in pursuit of this.

I'm confused... You had two interviews... no background check and an automatic hiring and confirmed start date?

Three interviews.. After my second interview I received the email for the new hire paperwork session days after this I received the "correct " email to schedule my third interview., which was today.. After my my interview (3) I received again the new hire paper work session and then I received the email for the bc about 20 min later... Hope this now makes sense to everyone:rolleyes::cool:

So basically.... after your 3rd interview you got the NEW HIRE paperwork and the background check paperwork.... Has your background check been finished? What area are you in?

They do allow a retest but only if you score high enough. There is not much flexibility at all when it comes to testing... other stuff isn't quite that "by the book". Schedules aren't all that flexible either :(

Mine was completed even earlier. No rejection letter yet. So I wait. I wonder though if Apple ever forgets to send a rejection letter? I wonder if that is an automated message when you are closed out in their application system? Am I still active? So many questions and little at all in the way of answers. So frustrating! I know I literally grab my iPhone when I hear my e-mail notification go off to see if one has arrived. Same with the phone ringing, until I look at the caller ID and see it is family calling.

Argh!!!!!!!

Originally 10/29 but that looks very unlikely given it is 12 days away now.

I started the process in mid September. I got the official application after the 2nd interview and the HireRight e-mail after the 3rd. I have had zero contact with Apple since. :(

Actually mine was the 11th (adjudication date), not today like I thought :( So they've had mine for a week now.

Maybe they are just behind on the hiring process, or all classes are full and more spots will open. We can hope!

----------

How long after third interview did it take for everyone to receive notification?

My interview was about 20 minutes. Got the BC email a couple minutes after the interview. I will be in the CPU class 11/26 if everything goes well.

Fingers crossed. I received a call then my questionnaire email. My 1st phone interview is tomorrow afternoon. I applied for several AHA jobs with a couple of ID's. This last one got their attention. Why? Because the format for my resume came out "wonky" when they looked at it. After I tweaked my cover letter, I "pasted" them into the boxes in HTML format. I figured anything to get their attention whether it worked or not.

Wish me luck everyone. I wish the same back to all of you.

BTW it was for training start date 11/26 but what exactly it's for I was not told (iOS or CPU)

:rolleyes::apple:

FYI I first applied in August. The last time was this past Sunday night which is the one that got noticed.

updated timeline....

application timeline..... All times are eastern
applied 9/1 3am ( i work nights :D)
email with 12 questions 9/3 10pm (class start date 10/22)
first interview/phone call 9/7 3pm
facetime interview 9/11 3:15p (class start date moved to 10/29)
email for application and 3rd interview set up 9/11 4:15p
3rd interview facetime 9/24 @ noon
hirerite background sent 9/25 8pm filled out and sent back right away.
hirerite emailed completed bg check and sent to apple from hirerite on 10/1 @9:30am
Phone call with offer 7pm 10/10 (class start date moved to 11/5)
email my recruiter to ask for status update as hadn't received email was advised 5-7 days min.
Offer email 10/17 5pm replied with I accept within 15 mins.
Apple new hire paperwork email 6pm
New hire paper scheduled for friday 10/19
New hire paper work email states new hire paperwork via fed-ex will be arriving 10/18

orginally set for 10/22 class moved to 10/29 prior to 2nd interview then moved to 11/5 class with and starting 11/5 per all emails today :D:D

So for everyone worrying about your class date coming up don't... it seems to be a rough estimate when they start the process. They are truly still offering and moving people back to later classes. I know it is stressful and hard to not check email or phone every 5 mins trust me I finally feel like i can stop doing that now that i have gotten all the "official emails" i can finally breathe again..
dont give up hope :apple: will be calling or emailing soon ;)

Kinda starting to feel numb and stunned by the whole process right now...

I emailed the recruiter yesterday since I was originally told 11/5 and wanted to be able to give my current job full 2 weeks notice. I received a call today. I was so excited when she said she was calling from Apple. But, the elation didn't last long. She basically said, yeah we got everything and everything is fine, we're just waiting to get information of when training is going to start and they are working on getting it scheduled. I'm not sure if this means the 11/5 class is full and they are opening more classes for that date or if they are looking at different dates. So, it was basically, "We'll let you know..."

So, the holding pattern continues on indefinitely.
