So literally 1 hour ago was my last day of out-of-store CORE. Let me just say that you folks have a lot to look forward to. It's quite an amazing experience. Good luck!

I'll tell ya. I'm a retail employee and the stuff I learned in Core Training alone is a life lesson for years to come. Quite an amazing company. Welcome to Apple. :)

YAY CatBite777! and welcome Tracycoder! How many are there now in the 11/26 class? (On this forum at least) CityChic and Stukenbroeker too I believe.

My resignation has been tendered. I'm so happy I'm beaming. I don't mind the hardwork that's coming. I really needed to move on from where I was.

My paperwork call is Wednesday afternoon. I just hope the weather doesn't prevent me from getting the I9 verified and sent.

Pinch me....
:apple::D:apple:

yes sir!!! (no offense if your a female lol) 11/26 **PINCH**:D

Can anybody please mention a phone company please:confused: I'm on the phone with comcast and told them I dont want any phone features and they said "but you have to!that is the only service we have and is free"

Cox is the same way, but the call waiting can be disabled by a code. Presume same is true of Comcast. (After a quick Google)... OK, apparently not :p Looks like you'll need to go the telco route.

----------

Try verizon. Let them know you need a plain old phone line with no features. Cox acted the same way. Huh?? Whaaaaa? No features? huh??? lol!

With Cox you can disable call waiting by dialing *38. Doesn't work with Comcast unfortunately.

I really hope to make a career out of this. Can't wait.

I will say, the new job I'm working right now has a great group of people in my department. Really going to miss them.

Anyone have an idea on training hours? I really hope they are day courses.

The 11/26 class I am in is 9am-6pmCST Mon-Fri. That's 10am-7pm for me. No complaints here!
That's nice for you not for me I'm in central time lol... When I head back to NY then I will be all smiles again lol :D
CT here as well and HAPPY about that - rather not work until 7:00 every day! 8-5 would be even better :D Not like there's rush hour or a long commute to worry about!

I got the Offer email

I applied for the AHA position late August Early September and my interviews were back to back and after the second interview, like 2hrs late I got an email from Hireright for the BGC and Employment verification, but they couldn't verify my Employment records for whatever reason and wanted me to send in W2's or Stubs for verification but I didn't feel comfortable doing that but someone at apple called me and by-passed that process and like 2hrs later I got the offer call, then I immediately replied "I accept" then a few minutes later I got the tracking number for the paperwork(overnight delivery) and got an email to choose a time i would like to attend the "new hire paperwork session" and I start 11/26 by the way all this happened yesterday lol
