Cox is the same way, but the call waiting can be disabled by a code. Presume same is true of Comcast. (After a quick Google)... OK, apparently not Looks like you'll need to go the telco route.

With Cox you can disable call waiting by dialing *38. Doesn't work with Comcast unfortunately.
I applied for the AHA position late August Early September and my interviews were back to back and after the second interview, like 2hrs late I got an email from Hireright for the BGC and Employment verification, but they couldn't verify my Employment records for whatever reason and wanted me to send in W2's or Stubs for verification but I didn't feel comfortable doing that but someone at apple called me and by-passed that process and like 2hrs later I got the offer call, then I immediately replied "I accept" then a few minutes later I got the tracking number for the paperwork(overnight delivery) and got an email to choose a time i would like to attend the "new hire paperwork session" and I start 11/26 by the way all this happened yesterday lol
Congrats! I had a difficult time with HireRight also. But just like you, I think Apple took a closer look and then quickly thereafter I received a phone call with an offer. A few hours after that, I received the official email offer which I replied "I Accept" to. Today I should be receiving the paperwork via FedEx some time this morning. I sent you a friend request. When you get past 5 posts (minimum amount needed to unlock PM feature) drop me a PM if you like and we can talk more.
This book is sold on Amazon, but also offered for free on the it-ebooks.info website. I just wanted to confirm if the free "downloadable" PDF version is the full book, or is it just a sample / missing some sections?
Its the full book...
I don't mind waking up early. I guess that's what happens when you get a little older. I use to have a horrible time waking up a few years ago. For the last few months I tend to wake up on my own (without an alarm clock) between 5am to 7am and I usually get around 5 to 6 hours of sleep per day.
Not sure which training schedule I will be assigned to just yet. It's either M-F or T-S and I think the time is 9am to 6pm.
The ONLY thing I dont like about my offer is that they gave me the part-time position but I hear that there is lots of OT available anyone else feels this way?
...
From what I was told as well as what is written in my official offer, it seems like it would be a good idea not to make any personal plans based on the assumption that you'll ONLY be working 20hrs a week. I'm estimating around 30 hours / week. Can anyone already working as a part-time At Home Advisor verify this?
I really hope to make a career out of this. Can't wait.
I will say, the new job I'm working right now has a great group of people in my department. Really going to miss them.
Anyone have an idea on training hours? I really hope they are day courses.
Thanks for clarifying this. Just curious, how do I figure out if I am iOS or CPU? No one has mentioned this to me verbally and I don't have anything written that specifies which one I will be in, or even what these types are.
You got one more post to go before PM feature unlocks. You can do it!
Another quick question: I know that we get an unpaid lunch. Is that a 30 or 60 min lunch break? And also, do we get two 10 or 15 minute breaks too?
Also, how busy are you exactly? As soon as you hang up from one call does the phone instantly ring for the next? Sorry for bombing out a bunch of questions, I have one more: Can I still smoke and drink coffee in my office while I work?
I have accepted your friend request. I have the same session tomorrow at 2:30pm also

Just got done with the New Hire Paperwork Session. I was informed that contrary to my understand, the 11/26 class is in fact IOS, not CPU. 9-6 M-F CST.
So do we get a IOS to play with?
