I don't think anyone in the possible September class has heard back, not that have posted on here anyway. I know I haven't and it's making me nervous. I hope they don't decide last minute that they don't need another class, but trying to think positive thoughts.

I was originally told I'd be working with all products as well and then was told in the final interview I'd be doing iOS support. No big deal as I am stronger in the iOS area anyway. I think they do that and then ask you the questions about all the different devices to gauge where your strengths are.

I'd much rather do OSX support rather than iOS, primarily because I'm more familiar with it and the tech support end of it would probably be more challenging than iOS.

As far as the job offer itself, I don't have time now to go back through this thread but the job offer calls that went out for people in the Aug. training seemed to be made a week and 1/2 or so before they actually started. That's only a guestimate but I don't think they'll call people this early on for training that starts Sept. 10th. I'm just taking wild guesses here, that's all.

I'm currently in the training class with Kelly.

Here's my timeline with Apple:
8/12 - Applied
8/13 - Email received with questions (returned immediately)
8/13 - 1st interview (recruiter called without scheduling)
8/13 - 2nd interview via phone (2 hours after first interview)...via phone, person didn't have access to FaceTime.
8/14 - 24 hours later received email asking to schedule interview with hiring manager
8/20 - 3rd interview scheduled for this day (earliest date available)

Was informed it's part-time $14/hour. 20-25 hours per week. This would be preferable. Would basically make the same amount of income (few dollars difference) for 1/2 the time commitment with Kelly at $9.15/hour. Full time training for 5 weeks. Training starts 9/24.

From my knowledge no one has been contacted for the September classes yet. Also I'd check your SPAM folder because when I checked mine, HireRights e-mail was right there. :|

Goodluck! :apple:

[/COLOR]I was just about to ask this same question. Has anyone who is starting in September heard from Apple? Of course, I mean after you have turned in your HireRight stuff.

I haven't heard anything back from them yet. I submitted my info for HireRight within a few minutes of receiving it on August 2nd and I still haven't heard anything back yet from Apple. I sent Hireright an email this past weekend to find out if they need anything else from me, aside from what I was asked to verify. They emailed me back and said that they had all they needed and had already verified all employment. I'm assuming that my background check (which is clear) should have been a quick process to verify. I've used HireRight before for my previous employer and that was a quick process. I just think Apple is slow. And I'm set for the September class so I may get a offer call son

Yeah, me too. Most of the interview was just kind of conversational. Very laid back and relaxed. So, I don't remember everything. Again, as has been said, it seemed he was trying to gauge my personality.

yeah I got the exact same thing. It was a lot of normal conversation and laughs. He told me initially that he doesn't bite and that he would just be trying to get a feel for my personality. So that made me feel a whole lot better because I was nervous about what they were looking for and were going to ask me.

Congrats! If they started calling people for the Sept. 10th training all I can do is wait a bit longer. I still haven't received the e-mail of death so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Although I haven't gotten the official offer, Kelly said I'd be called as soon as they have the official Sept. training schedule. As I said before, I really don't want to work for Kelly:(

Kelly told me the same thing. Kelly called me for the August 13th class but I missed the call. By the time I called back they told me it was full and they would put me in the next one. I'm not thrilled about going through Kelly either but my state isn't hiring for this position. I tried applying in my nearby states but haven't heard anything.

Yeah I guess it is a waiting game. The majority of folks said its like two weeks after the background check submission that they get a response and today is like day 13 for me. I've been doing the same: checking emails every morning, turning my ringer on blast, paranoid. Lol however I still got plenty to do to pass the time and keep me busy.
Do you know if the class is just an online classroom (like most wah companies I've worked for) or is it online with webcam? I was just curious to know if anybody knew.
Well anyway I'm m glad to see somebody made it to the September class. Maybe we'll all make it and see each other in class.
Congrats!

Hey all! I've been lurking on this thread for a bit and figured I'd finally post. Had my final interview yesterday evening and haven't received a HireRight email yet.

Timeline:
8/2 - Applied on Apple jobs site
8/5 - Received initial email, responded the next day
8/7 - Initial Call//Mini interview
8/8 - Another call (couldn't Skype from where I was)
8/14 - 45 minute Skype interview

And now I'm just waiting. Don't feel like I botched the interviews at all but I'm still worried after reading that some people got the HireRight email within a few hours of their last interview.

Looked through a few pages of this and haven't seen anyone say they're being hired with training starting on 9/17 so I've gotta ask - has anyone else been interviewed with that start date??

You should be getting either 1. An e-mail with a link to schedule another interview or 2. An e-mail with a link to submit HireRight info.

I may be wrong but I believe training begins on 9/10.

Yeah I've seen 9/10 and 9/24, but during my interviews I was told 9/17 and my initial email has the same date. Still nothing new so far but we'll see.

Hey guys, I'm currently waiting for HireRight to finish my background check and hopefully start on the 10th as well. I've been reading this thread regularly and it has kept me in the loop. I look forward to working with some of you and wish you all the best of luck. I will report back as well any info I receive.

My time line is almost identical to yours. I was also told training would begin on 9/17. Hope this helps!!

I have 9/10 listed in my first e-mail as well as a verbal confirmation from an interviewer, lasting for 5 weeks. I wonder if they have more than one training class depending on the products you'll be supporting... Or they just kicked the starting date back because of the new iPhone release (9/12).

I completed my hireright information on Monday and was wondering if anyone knows typically how long it takes to hear back from Apple. I was also told training would start on 9/10. Really anxious to hear back!:D
