Agree...

However we have found that AT&T Yahoo has a bug that can cause third party clients to not be able to login to the CX account, iOS - OS X.

The fix is to have the CX log into the email account via web mail, sign in, log out, sign in again and log out one last time.

That releases something on the AT&T account "bug" and allows the CX to now use iOS and OS X Mail again.

Just passing it along :)

Yeah, known that for a while... it can be a pain sometimes getting the cx to log in via webmail to verify their account during device mail setup though.

Howdy

Hey, I have read these forums for a long time, but for some reason, I finally have joined. Horray :p. I am commenting on this because I am in the same boat as a lot of people. I had my background check completed 5 days ago, and now I am just playing the waiting game, hoping that I get that glorious call. Interviews went extremely well, so here is to hoping! I asked during my second interview where I would be working if hired, and they said I would be doing OS X support, which is right up my alley, thankfully. I know iOS quite well, having owned so many iOS devices, but I am more of a computer geek   I hope everyone finds out soon! :D :apple:

Well it was verified that my training is for one week as a Customer Director Representative. If anyone knows why that is different than the other positions, please let me know.

My boyfriend just accepted this job and he has no idea what it is either. Anyone have a clue?

Not sure this question will get an answer but has anyone been sent the hire right email and not been hired? It seems like once you get that email you get hired...

Just got my HireRight application after just having my final interview today! :) Is this considered and offer for the position?

I think everyone who gets the hire right email gets hired. I mean why would a company pay another to do a background check on you if their not going to hire you? Just my thoughts. Congrats!

Have a question for you, did you do your first interview last week? Or have you been at this awhile longer like everyone else? I did my first interview and guess 3rd interview last week

Not necessarily. There were a couple of people on here who didn't get hired after the BGC due to inaccurate information.

Sadly that is why I was not given my other position with another company. I went through my WorkNumber report to verify all of my numbers before submitting anything. :)

The person you talked to didn't happen to be M.L, was it? :/

I'm getting discouraged real fast. I too was slated for the 15th of July. :/

No, it wasn't...also it has been a different person I've spoken to each time...never the same recruiter twice. She did say they were running somewhat behind. What day did your BGC show as completed? Mine was this past Friday. Good luck and try to stay positive. The waiting is hard, I know!

----------

Yay!! Classmates!

I know!!! Have you received your offer email yet? She told me to watch for mine and reply ASAP but haven't received so far.

I've had 2 facetime interviews and after the second I got my hireright BGC. I have not had any calls other than the 2 interviews. Should I expect another interview or will I be getting an offer call soon? My BGC completed already (not much to check).

The next step after completion of the BGC is to wait wait wait for the offer call. Good luck!!!

I say that because I was put on an 8 to midnight shift and I am an early riser. I tried to swap shifts with someone (there's a website for doing so) and there were scads of people looking for earlier shifts and no one looking for a later shift. We have a couple of people on the team that prefer nights but most of us would rather work days.

You do have some say so as far as your shift but very little. I was lucky my first 6 months because my TM happened to find an open 10 - 2 slot for me but after our shift bids I got stuck on a late shift (my stats were great but I was in the last bidding group). Shift bids are a bit complicated but you'll learn more as you go. In any case we had one person on the team that went to chat support and my TM was nice enough to get me shifted into their old spot, which was days.

I'll most likely be at Tier 2 before the next shift bid rolls around so it's hard to say what time slot I'll have. I do know that I won't stay here if I have to work until 12:30 AM unless the paycheck is considerably higher.

Your part time? I will be in the Full Time IOS so I'm guessing the only difference is my shifts will be 8 hrs long instead of four which is what I prefer anyway. As long as you have some sort of say so I'm cool, its pretty common that jobs only give you a little say anyway if you even get that much. My ideal schedule would just be Sunday and Monday off but i know that doesn't always happen or at least a schedule I can work around on Sunday and Monday, I really could care less what my hours are any other day of the week, ill take any shift. People can have those Fridays and Saturdays that they all want. I'm just anxious and can't wait to start and see what is in store for me.

I applied through Kelly Services on the 26th, had my interview over the phone on the 28th, completed all my forms by the 29th and got a call to fill out my I-9 on the 1st. If everything goes according to plan I'll start my training on the 15th!

Pleasantly surprised after reading this thread.

I applied this afternoon around 4:45PM. Before I had even received the confirmation email saying that they received my application, my phone rang, and it was a recruiter. It was funny, because she asked if I was still interested in the job, and I remarked that I hadn't even had time yet to become disinterested! She got a kick outta that. :p

Anyways, she asked me a bunch of questions pertaining to availability and simple stuff like that, and I've got a FaceTime interview set up for tomorrow at 5:30PM. After reading this thread, it seems like that's a super quick series of events (seeing some people mentioning weeks between steps), so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

At any rate, wish me luck! And good luck to anybody else out there who is also in the process of applying. If all goes well, I'll be starting August 19th! :)

I just got my hireright email today for the BGC!

Thanks everyone for all the info posted along the way. This was a great resource.

:D Based on what I've been told so far, if I get hired, I'll be in that class as well.

Woo classmates :D

Oh yeah... forgot about that. We didn't lose anyone but it's possible. They do go out of their way to make the tests passable for everyone though. If you can't hack the exams there's no way you should be on the phones anyway.

We lost a few people in my training for Mac from not passing tests. I like the job overall but probably wouldn't say the same if I worked full time. If I wasn't offered Mac I wouldn't have taken the job. Having supported both Mac and iOS with previous jobs I can say that iOS would be way too monotonous for me and I never want to cross train. I can also see now that I probably wouldn't ever want to do Tier 2 if they offered part time even for a nice raise because you have to act like a manger for any jerk customer that asks for one.

Although there is also a big focus on customer service with Mac there is still quite of bit of different troubleshooting you have to do because of more variables opposed to iOS. Thank god I at least have the option to view customers screens to troubleshoot because a lot of people don't even know how to open a finder window. I imagine that even though iOS has a more minimal interface that people still have trouble and those reps wish they could do the same. I'm sure that people will be calling having a conniption when iOS 7 is released just because it looks different.

One thing I dislike is having to take non tech troubleshooting Apple ID calls which can be a pain and not something I expected to have to do. Once again I do like the job overall however.
