I was asked the same exact questions! It has now been 3 weeks and 1 day since I had my facetime interview. Who was your interviewer, sounds like we had the same one

I heard the "3 to 5" days and surprisingly after my 2nd interview I was given the go ahead to confirm an appointment for a 3rd interview. Having the 2nd interview before the weekend had me on the edge of my seat and I figured to have the "thanks for playing" email by Tuesday or Wednesday but I was surprised at lunch on Monday when I received an email to schedule an interview.

I have read many folks say their 3rd interview was almost an hour, or the questions were in depth. I would like to believe I did very well addressing the issues at hand and there was no role play involved. Once again I was not told "I would be recommended" nor I didn't receive the hireright BGC an hour later. The process is gut wrenching though. I almost feel like I overanalyzed every response I received. But either way, I am loving the edge of my seat. It is fun!

Scary stuff... So the call could just not go the customers way at no fault of yours and instead of reviewing the call and looking at situation bad score = fired?

Oh calls are reviewed...but a DSAT is always your fault. You learn ways to reduce the odds, but that's the best you can do. My best recommendation is never tell a customer you can't do something. Either get them to someone that CAN do something or get them to someone else that can say "nothing we can do" a lot better than you early in your career. That's why T2 is paid the big bucks.

Not trying to scare you, but the harsh fact is that there are going to be hundreds of people better than you stat-wise, and even when you're at the top the bottom isn't anything but a DSAT or 3 away. The way they work the percentages a single dissatisfied customer puts you at margin against 9 satisfied customers.

That's one reason your customer skills need to be damn good. If you make it a good social experience it just may outweigh a negative in the customer's eyes. But the technical aspect is -stupid move Apple - ignored to a large degree. Outcomes are much better if you're good with customers AND know what you're talking about.

Yep, I've got a dsat on this month because a guy didn't like an answer he got from iTunes billing on a different call but I got caught in the crossfire of his general displeasure with Apple.

Hey I have three questions and possibly someone can answer all three, but my home office is inside of my bedroom, will they throw a fit about me having my bed in the background???? or should I get a room divider ?....Also I am worried that my upload speed on my internet may have issues when they ask for us to test it, I have tried several different speed test websites and all say something completely different, I was told by windstream that it is suppose to be 1mbps upload but lots of times im not passing 668 kbps upload, is it possible these sites are not accurate and apples test is more on point???....And last but not least, is the nesting period the same hours of training hours of 9-6?

I've spent many a day in a nice shirt and underwear. If they want to surreptitiously peek at my baggy drawers when I'm up for coffee it's on them.

I was joking about the underwear and duct tape(out of context, those 2 items do not sound pleasant). And I guess it's possible for them to peek in on you without you knowing it but they have better things to do than see if an AHA is wearing nothing but speedos and socks.

Customers don't see you on CAM so I don't think apple cares. Maybe when you get to be a trainer or interviewing people but the 1st year or so won't matter in my opinion. You could get a room divider, it would be more professional.
the speed test is on speedtest.net you take a screen shot
Nesting will be the same hours.

While I know the offer email says to just reply with I Accept, the attachment has a signature place. Do I need to also digitally sign it and send the attachment back, or do they just take the I accept as signature? Silly question I know but never safe than sorry.

No. In addition to what TheHiberian said, you also install a program on your computer that emails your IP address to your manager each morning. You have to be at your computer, by your phone, in your home, every day.

From what I've read, there's no way for the built-in camera to receive power without the green light coming on next to it. So in theory, you'll know if the camera comes on. I haven't seen mine come on, and I doubt they'd do something like that as I'm sure there's some serious privacy implications there. I would assume at all times though that they are looking at your desktop. They can do that without you knowing.

as I'm sure there's some serious privacy implications there

You are working on their equipment, their dollar.. there is no issue with privacy at all. Nothing is private when you are at work, and they tell you that

I don't know what Apple's official stance is but more than one of the people in charge at Kelly have sworn that they never access video without advanced warning and that it is actually illegal for them to do so. I haven't been on video since training and I don't see any sign of that changing any time soon.

I can't imagine escalating calls for wifi sync issues and stuff.

Wait until you get one that asks you what wifi is and is deadly serious. And I don't mean a terminology issue here. Or you get a call from some drunk that locked themselves out of their phone and when you get them to iTunes they tell you they've never backed up. And they never turned on their iCloud. And they've had their iPhone for 2 years and you better save their data. And they want you to reset their phone from your office.

You'll be fine. CS skills are CS skills. Just be aware you can't please everyone. ;)

You can get a bad score for any reason that the customer feels like giving you one. They don't have to comment or explain themselves. Your management can listen to the call (and if you get a dsat they will) but they aren't going to invalidate the dsat. Basically, you're told to never let them off the phone unhappy so if you don't think that they are and you can't do more for them, you get them to T2. Therefore, no matter what justification the customer has for the dsat, it's your fault.

As for the robotic, that's the opposite of what Apple wants from you. You will have guidelines but you also have a lot of freedom to personalize your calls. Even with the legal stuff you have to say you're allowed to say it your own way.

I don't know anyone here except for my boyfriend so I really just want to start working again so I have something to do and money to spend! LOL..

Youngsters always seem to think about the money they can spend instead of the money they can save... It's a sad state of affairs I tell you.
