Can you get in trouble for using flex time? Or would it be mentioned during a review?

I am using a tad less than I am allowed, but am just wondering if its gonna bite me in the butt later on.

That's kind of a silly question to ask in this thread... why not just ask your TM what his/her VTO policy is?

Wednesday the 28th I got the interested in you email asking me to email back acknowledging I received the email and saying they hoped to hear back soon. The position is no longer up on the site for my city and still haven't heard back... Thoughts?

It's been a year but if I recall, my queue was listed in the actual job offer I got via phone and e-mail. Someone that was recently hired would probably know for sure.

@ AG....All the job description for my city states is "you will troubleshoot MacBooks, Mac desktops, iPhones and iPads".

It really doesn't matter to me one way or the other, I was curious if you would find out before the paperwork session.... I just want a job so I can take care of my family. :)

I got the phone call of interest on the 29th (of which I missed the call ), I then checked my email that is tied to my Apple ID (it is not my main email) and saw the interested in you email from Apple dated 8/29... I replied and as the day went on I didn't get an acknowledgement that they received it so I composed a simple email to the person asking if they could acknowledge receipt of my emails and they replied letting me know they would reach out to me the following week...

On the 3rd I had the first interview and set up the date and time for the second interview.

Long story short (I know to late...) Send an email just asking if they received your response it can't hurt. Good Luck! ;)

Can you transfer?

Sorry to ask the same question again, but I would like to confirm if any Kelly advisor has applied directly to Apple after working with Kelly? How was your process? Did you inform them that you were working for Kelly. I just would like to know what suggested steps I should tak

I've run into a lot of advisors that just love the no-brainer calls. They could do password resets all day every day and be quite happy. I need a bit more of a challenge and by challenge I don't mean calming down an irate customer. Or a call that takes 60 minutes of walking Floyd from Alabama through an iTunes install that's almost like trying to explain calculus to a gerbil.

This job provides a paycheck but that's about it and no matter how you slice it or dice it, it's always just going to be a call center job.

Priceless!

Where do you come up with these?

What would you do?

I currently live in WA but we're moving to CA mid-Oct due to family emergency situation. I had asked the recruiter about relocation and she said that it requires HR and manager approval. I do know that apple does recruit in CA.
I have everything already set up; high speed Internet and a phone is already there. So since I have a second interview with the hiring manager on Tues morning, should I put on my application the CA address or my WA address? I dp plan on speaking to the hiring manager about it. We're moving in about 5 weeks.

I could not have said it better than that. I too, started off on the skeptical side and it's only gotten worse. There is no way I could have gone into this thing being more optimistic or enthusiastic... that's not who I am.

And for those of you that are just now getting hired and are giddy with excitement... we'll see how many of you are still standing after a few months of taking call after call after call from customers, half of whom can be dumb as a bag of hammers when it comes to technology.

You have quite a knack for prose Mr. Hibernian, maybe you should try your hand at blogging.
Well since I did this for 4 years providing support to home health nurses, some who never even used or owned a computer, let alone an expensive tablet convertible pc running windows xp tablet edition, I think I will enjoy this way more since I believe in apple products as a personal apple product user and have BEEN apple support for my family as I've convinced people to switch.

So yeah, if I loved the call center job at home health dealing with people dumb as bricks, I know I will love this even more.

Anytime! When I am looking for my next position I always follow up with every person I talk to and I send them a thank for taking the time to speak with me email... It shows you are interested in the position and the company as well as initiative..... When you do these things it keeps you on their mind and makes an impression...

Put your new address then, because that's where you would want the equipment to go.

Thank you! It won't be a problem then, I hope!

Make sure you're up front about moving. I was moving in the middle of my hiring process and moved into the new place the day before I started the job. I told my manager in the process but they weren't happy about it. They require an approval process for you to move normally.
Thanks! Glad to know at least it's happened to someone else.

I wouldn't explain anything to the hiring manager. I would speak with your recruiter. Your hiring manager would have nothing to do with it. They will be the ones to talk to HR. the hiring manager is there to decide to hire you or not. They don't care if your moving, they just want to know if you can do the job. :)

Oh! I guess I'll talk to the recruiter about it then. This is why I checked here. You guys are s-m-r-t. Heh.
