Thank you all so much for taking the time to explain the different aspects of the job!

It sounds like there are a lot of different demands placed on advisors that are out of the advisor's control, and that can be really stressful. I guess if I can handle that kind of stress and just try my best I may be okay (for a while!)
 
Does anyone know about the class starting oct. 7th in the offer email I received it stated it was for AOS, I was just wondering does anyone know about this??
 
September 16th CPU Class

Hey! I start on the 16th and I was wondering if anyone else is going to be starting with me doing CPU support??

I am stuck at home today and tomorrow waiting for my equipment since my roommate is not home during the day :/

If you start did you get your welcome box yet?? :)

I went through the process a year or so ago and made it through training but it didn't work out for me at the time. I'm really praying I get a second chance here. Did they tell you what class you would be in?

New part-time advisor, first time flexed up. Any ideas on how long this will last, and when we will go back to part-time schedules?
 
Has anyone been hired thru Kelly Connect for the Apple at Home Advisor? I'm supposed to start training on Oct. 7th. Can anyone tell me what the training is like? Is it thru Skype or do we have a headset on all day listening to the instructors? Can computer be used during non working hours or only for work related?

I'm in the oct. 7th class also with Kelly, I don't know how training works but I do know that the computer is only for business use.

The training is all online in a online classroom environment. The imac can only be used for work.

Were you hired directly thru Apple or through Kelly.

AOS is apple online store.

IOS is there operating system for there iphone, and ipads.

I'm sure it's AOS that's why I was wondering did anyone else in the oct 7 class receive an email stating that they were AOS. Does this consist of any tech support or just online orders??
 
Tomorrow is the big day. Last day of training before nesting and final exam day. I found the first exam to be really easy but the second one took some research on my part to find all the answers and still missed a couple that were worded in a way that made them difficult to answer correctly. Here's hoping this last one goes well and that myself and the rest of us noobs kick some ass in nesting and then start cranking out some overtime.

Many thanks again to AG and The Hibernian for their continued input into this forum. You guys are great.
