Just finished the third interview and it was one fo the weirdest I've ever had, this whole process was odd.

The interviewer white wife beater tee shirt wasn't very engaged, seemed to be in a hurry only took 15 minutes. Maybe he had a date or something.

Easy questions seemed like they had already made a decision based on my resume.

He did say his team works alot of overtime, which I was thinking yuck.

I believe you should set down the bong and rethink your post.

Well tonight I received the completed background check from HireRight, so now I wait for Apple.

:) Stay by the phone, you will probably get a call sometime today for sure! I got mine on the same day HireRight completed the bkgd check but my start date is slated somewhat around the corner....

I think I missed it. How long did your background check take?

This isn't in the call center. Its a Dell Technical analysis Sr. Associate. I love :apple: but for the right price Ill venture to the dark side for enough $. :D

Oh, oh, oh! Definitely I'd interview for both then and see where you land. Congratulations on getting a call for it! I thought you just meant a technical position haha. I know what you mean. I love the call center I work in now and the people, but they're not paying me enough or giving me enough benefits to beat what Apple's paying. Plus, I mean...it's Apple haha. Good luck with your interview with Dell if you do decide to do it!

I think the Dell job is paying about $10 more an hour than :apple: which is closer to what I was making when I was laid off. I just dont know that I can ever go back to using a pc. Its just a hunk of junk as far as Im concerned but if they want to pay me for changing out their crappy power supplies and removing virus's Im good for that kind of $$.

No its working at a hospital. But its 8-5 no holidays and I can still have a life. I figure the AHA position is going to own me. Mine is full time aha not part time. There are pros and cons of both. Ten bucks an hour more is alot of $$.

Yea it within an hr or so but I haven't heard anything yet and it's been over a week... Starting to wonder what's going on I know my background is clean

----------

@mkmurry was that this past Monday or last Monday and just curious why they checked your background 3 times (or were those different positions) and did u hear anything back after submitting to hire right

My interview was Monday the 10th of Sept

I meant I have had 3 background checks for other jobs... and I know they take at least 10 days... so we have to be patient.

I'm sure your Apple interviewers took note of how well you handle stress and your barrage of e-mails and calls certainly convinced them of your professionalism. No doubt, you'll be hearing from them soon.

Seriously, for those of you that are freaking out just waiting to hear back from Apple, how are you going to handle some of the more stressful support calls? Keep in mind that first and foremost they want people that can be the public face of Apple Inc.. Secondly, they want people that have the desire and ability to learn and number 3, they want people with some degree of technical aptitude.

I'm sure that wasn't meant to be judgmental at all . I've taken all kinds of tech support calls both for Apple and other companies, I've been through more than 4 product launches and I still get excited and nervous and pensive when waiting for normal interviews, let alone an interview with Apple. I can imagine to someone who hasn't had a lot of experience with tech or with Apple directly would be that much more excited by the opportunity that's being offered. Just because you can't be excited about it, don't look down on other people's excitement. You know these posts are really starting to irritate me. Advisers who act like that would never make it in the Apple call center I work it in now, we don't put up with negativity very well.
