I am still waiting to even hear back. They keep posting about how they are looking to hire in my area. Nothing comes up after I sent in my application last monday. I do believe a ton of people have to be sending in applications, because this posting started April 17th 2012 in my area.
Hey Apple AHA people.
I never did an update. So I was getting a bit on the worried side, usually it never takes longer than a day for me to get a reply once I submit a resume.
It did take from May 16th to May 25th, in order to get a reply. I got it on friday from an Apple Recruiter. I did Apple AHA Pro. I am in college, but decided the PRO was the best route. I have an interview tomorrow (Wednesday May 30th 2012) . Wish me luck.
I finished the interview a little bit ago, it went great. About an hour later I received an email requesting that I set up the Second Interview with the Hiring Manager.
So Thats Later During the Week.
Oh, and the interview was comfortable. The recruiter was nice and polite and understood my humor. I tend to crack a joke from time to time about things to make us both comfortable which worked. I kept serious and attentive, but we both chuckled from time to time.
It was nice to see that second email in the mailbox. I am definitely excited, but not trying to count my eggs before they hatch.
Unsure of pay and things yet, I am guessing that is figured out during the Second Interview.
well how about you post your resume.
I got a 17 inch white iMac, though in most cases you'll get a 22 inch aluminum iMac if your hired from this point on (the advisors with the older imacs will get upgraded ones at the end of April). I still work there but i'm looking for another job at the moment. Its a great job with lots of overtime potential and schedule flexibility but i'm looking for something more IT-oriented and less to do with customer service. call center work can be stressful. The pay is $9.15 /hr which is ok for a part-time student living with parents like myself but even i'm looking for something that pays more.
My one advice during the phone interview is constantly mention how your there to service the customer first and foremost. Apple is huge on customer service. Also mention stuff like first-call resolution, low call handling time, upselling potential (you aren't 'required' to sell Applecare Protection Plans, But they do expect you to mention it on every eligible call) and technology.
