awesome! fingers crossed! My recruiter called me and told me background check cleared. It took about a week later after I heard back from my recruiter when i filled out my background check. Did you apply for the corporate job or student? An Apple recruiter got a hold of me first before i even applied for the corporate position. I wonder if the training is one on one or they will have us in a virtual class.

Yo, came back with an update. I got my offer letter and accepted it. It is set up for the training on the 25th. Awesome Sauce, got excited when I received the call and the letter.

Got my call today!

I guess they DO hire people over 40! I start 6/18! Woo hoo! The best advice I would offer here is, that if you've received an email and not heard back after a while, send a follow up email and keep doing it once a week or so until you hear something. I think a big reason I finally crossed the finish line is because I stayed on top of it. I initially applied in JANUARY. I would wait a couple of days, and then email them if I didn't here anything. It kept the ball rolling for me, and finally got me in front of an interviewer.....and now....HIRED!

Congratulations :D! I am setting up my paperwork on Tuesday. I wonder if we will be in the same class together. Have they said when they are shipping your papers via Fedex? I will probably hear from you soon! good luck!

The offer letter said i had to accept by monday, but my recruiter said i should start receiving things after that. the papers, with the information...soon after an email to set me up for a coordinator to help with paper fill out. Receive equipment and a manager call a week before the start date.

Not to long now. Counting down days...really close.

Tech Support Advisor via Kelly Services

I had my telephone interview and got the email that I am moving to the "next step of the process." :D The questions previously posted by advisors or applicants in this thread are on point regarding the interview questions posed to me. I now await the third email from the "Onboarding department" to initiate the electronic application process and background check.

I read two two entries in this thread from advisors who work for Apple via Kelly Services.

BTW, it seems that a phone call after you complete the application to confirm receipt speeds up the process.

How long did it take for advisors via Kelly Services to receive the electronic application email that initiates the background check process?

Thanks! :apple:

Got the email with the link to the electronic application/new hire materials today! Just waiting for the phone call confirming receipt and initiation of the background check! The process is moving along very smoothly! :)

Simon, I guess I am still waiting on a reply after I sent an, I ACCEPT. email to the person that sent me the message. How long did it take for you to get a reply about your FedEx'ed items. Or did you not receive any information and held out till you got them?

On June 6th i replied back I accept, after that they emailed me back the next day. The next day i signed up with an email reply with which day i wanted to do my paperwork session. The second email after you reply back I Accept, they will give you a date when your papers come via Fedex. I did that Tuesday June 12th (Paperwork session) and it is basically a meeting with other hires to explain the paperwork. I sent my papers back on Wednesday June 13th and said our equipment would come next week. So i am waiting to get a phone call or message from my manager now. i am also antsy about when everything gets processed. hope this helped.

Apple Direct Hire or Agency Hire

SimonWiesner,

Were you hired directly by Apple or through an agency? If an agency, which one? I have an appointment to complete my I-9 and other hiring documents on tomorrow! I'm working with Kelly Services. I noticed some dealt with RightHire.

I was hired directly through Apple and i did notice people got jobs through Kelly Services. When you dial in and enter your pass code you will be in a conference probably with other people and they will explain how to fill out your paperwork. With an I-9 form you will have to get someone from a bank or an Apple Store to fill out section 2 and scan, email, or fax it to HR to verify they filled it out correctly; (Id's and other documents stating who you are). Hireright just deals with background checks. besides that they will tell you when you will receive your equipment.

Did they say when your going to train? I start on the 25th!

I just completed the paperwork process with Kelly Services and now await the background check, which should go pretty smoothly because I am a substitute teacher for two different counties, worked for the federal judiciary for 23 years, and have a security clearance. I hope the background check services they retain work quickly. I anticipate training on the 25th. If not, I guess I would start with the next group in July.

Thus far, I'm very fortunate with the expeditious process because I only applied on Monday via Kelly Services. I perused Apple's website. I think they use contracted advisors in selective regional areas and direct hire in others. Unfortunately, I reside in the one of the contracted areas. I hope this turns into a fruitful career though. :)

I didn't get a specific email about the background check from Kelly Services. The instructional email from the Kelly recruiter with the steps of the process stated that after I received a call from "Onboarding" the "background screens will be initiated after this phone call. Please be advised that it can take up to two weeks for this process to be completed." I received the call on last Thursday, June 14.

Hope this helps!

awesome! the second interview is about the same but dive just a little deeper with tech questions and customer relations. i am just waiting to hear back from my background check!

Hey Simon (or others that have went through this process),

I'm being moved to the second interview of the At Home Advisor Pro (not student) position, which they described as a more in-depth interview to take place over face-time/Skype with a higher level Hiring Manager that will last about 30-45 minutes.

Can you describe what kind of process you went through in your second interview with the hiring manager. Like what questions they asked, etc...?

Thanks and congratulations!

Sweet deal I hope we are in the same class, only way to find out is to wait till monday :D.

Good Luck Man.

I received a call on June 14 instructing me to make an appointment with the nearest office to complete hiring documents. The recruiter informed that the phone call also indicated the commencement of the background check. On today, I accepted an offer and will commence orientation with Kelly on July 9, KellyConnect-Apple training orientation on July 16 and KellyConnect-Apple new advisor 4-week training session on July 23!

In short, it only took one week to complete the background check.

I'm so excited!!!! :D

Wishing all the best of luck! :apple:

I started the interview process directly with Apple and completed the HireRight requirements early this morning. Later today, I get an email from Kelly Connect requesting I complete a Talent Match Evaluation testing modules.
Is the Kelly Connect invitation initiated by Apple? Meaning, Apple is not interested in hiring me directly, and defers to Kelly.

Its getting Crazy

I applied for the AHA and was called by Kelly at the beginning of June and had two interviews and filled out paper work and waited for the background check and was offered the job at 9.15 an hour. Just this week I was contacted by Apple and offered a Job as an AHA for 14 an hour. I had the phone interview and now I have the Skype interview on Monday. I am not sure which one I want to accept now because the Apple job pays more and has benefits but I am not sure if it is part time for full time so I guess I will as them Monday. Does anyone know if the computer you receive can be used for anything beside work?
Good luck to all

How did you get a call from both KellyConnect and Apple? Did you apply via the Apple website or the Kelly Services website? I would love to work for Apple directly in lieu of contracting work via an agency. I think the opportunity for growth would be more fruitful if you work directly for Apple.

Good luck!

I would love to know the answers to your questions also. Are the three companies (Apple, HireRight and Kelly Services) working together on filling the positions? As for me, I have only received calls and emails from Kelly Services. Interesting.

I now remember applying at Kelley Services earlier this year for generic IT support from home position. So, I now know that the two are unrelated because I used a different email when I applied at Kelly. I you are interested in applying directly with Apple, go to their website and select careers, then Corporate Jobs, Customer Support

I did apply for both, I did not know the Kelly job was for Apple and I applied for Apple a long time ago. It seemed strange to me also. The training is longer with Apple and I am not sure if it full time or part time with Apple with Kelly they are offering 38 hours. I am still waitiing on my skype interview so I guess I will have more info after the interview. At this point I would prefer the Apple job because of all the benefits and being an actual employee and not an independent contractor. Yes I applied for both on their websites.

I had "pre-employment assesment... but..?

I submitted my resume about a week ago, and I received an email from Apple recruiter 2days ago saying complete the pre-employment assessment ASAP, and I did so.

The assessment was pretty simple and short, but it did say pre-employment on the top of the webpage... do you think this means I will most likely get this job...?

Hello all. I got to the technical interview portion of a phone interview yesterday and was told I would hear back "in a day or two" about the next steps. The phone connection was not good but I feel that I did great on answering the questions that were asked. Does this sound like they may be considering me for the job?

Also, for those that did get hired, what company is the health insuranced through?
