do you do facetime or just phone?

I interviewed with Susan also and she is the person who extended the telephone offer too! I agree, she's very nice but all of Apple employees have been very accommodating and informative throughout this process. Such a different environment from Kelly and other workplaces I've experienced. I think I have finally found my home! :D

That's awesome. Susan was my 2nd interviewer and I agree she was awesome. She seemed impressed with me so I hope the 3rd person I interviewed with passes good words on for me. I want this job so bad. I love APPLE. By the way, your profile name has me intrigued. Are you former military?

Yeah from what I've seen, the equipment comes the Thursday or Friday before the Monday you start.

Thanks for the info! :)

Christina was the first point of contact and she set the tone of a good impression to work for Apple. After the second interview with Susan, Emeline coordinates HR issues and scheduling sessions (she also is great at what she does: prompt, friendly emails and phone conversations). On the missed interview session, I got a "friendly" voicemail from Scott O'Neal (sp) but, after contacting Emeline who graciously rescheduled the interview, Ravin interviewed me the third time. After inquiring about career growth opportunities from the AHA position, Ravin shared her success stories over the two years she's worked for Apple. Very impressive! I want to be just like them when I grow up! :D Though these Apple employees do not, some seem to lack understanding about the importance of displaying courtesies to internal customers (employees) as well as external customers at all times.

He's the one that I dealt with as well. Interesting to see that other people had issues with him. I applied through Kelly Services and I have moved on to the background check phase.

I did do what you suggested and create a new Apple ID, so we will see if they end up calling me...

sometimes i wonder if i would have had different recruiters i would have been hired. it seem like 90% of the people are getting in . except for the select few that were unfortunate enough to get a tough recruiter

To my neighbors is the Dallas area, which Apple store yielded the best results for getting the I9 completed. I seem to recall reading a few bad experiences and having to go to other stores.

Anyone interview via FaceTime with Brian? My recruiter said he is very technical. Any pointers? Thanks!

Don't forget you can also use a Notary Public. My closest store is 25 minutes away, so I just used the notary at my bank. It was free and I basically just told them what to put where. They were also kind enough to fax it for me and I called and did the verification while I was still there. After reading some posts about others having trouble at the stores I think it was super easy comparatively. ;)

I did and he was fun. If you read my old posts I posted the questions he asked me. Don't have time to rewrite them all. Gotta get back to class.

Yep any notary will do. I went to Jenny at north park and she knew exactly what to do. Smooth process.

What did you say to the dropped iPad question?

Congrats! Any questions they stumped you on? Just trying to prepare for my first FaceTime tomorrow!

Not really, well maybe one "what would you consider a challenge of working from home". The first interview was pretty basic stuff
1. What's RAM
2. What's an Operating System
3. What's hardware

Just received the phone call (and email) with job offer.

The last official work I had was 4/2009. I was beginning to feel too old (56) to be of any value. It was because a close friend - over a month ago - sent me a link describing the At-Home Advisor hiring that I'm now rejoining the world of the employed.

Am in the 10/8 start. Waiting for paperwork in the mail, and the plan is to then sign up for a paperwork session conference call TBA.

Those who are waiting, I KNOW how hard it is to be patient. Best to us all!!!

:)

Kinda personal question BUT anyone who made it through background have not so food credit. I just find running a credit check is a bit much. I'd say due to the troubling times in our country a majority of people have bad credit.

Told him I was sorry about his situation and would be more than happy to gather some information so I could research some possible solutions.

I said "as an avid iPad user I am definitely sorry it's broken, my iPad is a big part of my life and it holds so much important information so again, I'm so sorry to hear that. One of the great things with the iPad is iCloud which you can access from any computer to get your term paper"

Yeah I knocked those out on the fist call. The FaceTime with Brian will pretty much be the same then?
