Do you know if they called your references or why it took two weeks from completion of BC for the call? i ask because koolaid and I both have completed BC as of this week so maybe knowing why it will take two weeks will help alleviate some of the stress of waiting :)

My references were not called. I was told the original class I was slated for was full so they pushed the date further out.

Maybe they are going to do a mass call sometime...soon.

I would think that a 3 week waiting time would be excessive since training is at the end of the month.

I hope I get my call soon for the sake of my stress and blood pressure lol.

Fedex left automated message boxes will be delivered tommorrow. FYI pilot you should edit out your team managers name that way to much info on the forum.

After you start training it would be wise to remain as anonymous as possible if you are going to post here. Never mention trainer names, manager names, team member names... NOTHING. They will tell you when you start that if you're going to post on a public forum, pretend your manager is watching over your shoulder.

Point duly noted..

Anyone know what usual timeline is for offer calls after BG checks are done?

I'm going on week three

A friend was slated for 10/8 class. Just got call the other day and she's in 11/5 class. The start dates aren't set in stone

Ok I had my 3rd interview with Skype and was told that I would receive response in a week and I still havent got the email and according to the forum if you are hired, you get the email in about 1 hour after interview.

sooooooooo with that being said, has anyone re-applied in a different city and if so did you use the same apple id and application information and if so, how did the second time around go?

I don't want Kelly, because the starting rate is not enough.

Give it some time. I got mine the next day, some wait a couple days. If people are getting pushed to later classes Apple obviously has their hands full. Just wait it out. No news is good news because it isn't the thanks for playing email.

Sounds like a lot of people are getting pushed into later classes! Bummer.

Thanks

Thanks for the encouragement @ Famous 600. At first I was taking getting the job serious even though I love Apple products but on the 3rd interview I became really nervous as I do when I want something really bad and I think it played against me

----------

ooops................I meant I wasn't taking the job that serious and I breeze through the first two interviews

Go with Kelly if you're desperate but I'm in my last few days of training and have already been on the phones. There's absolutely no way I'd do this job for $9 an hour. This isn't customer service for AT&T where you're working from a script. You have to know your stuff AND have a really good set of people skills. The people skills part is the one I have to work on :(

Hahaha. Here's some people skills that I remember as I consider myself excellent at relating. Treat everyone how you want to be treated. If you don't offer superior service you could lose a customer, the customer is essentially what pays your paycheck. That always straightens me out!

It wouldn't surprise me but I doubt anyone working for Apple now would post that on the board.

That could be why some offer calls are taking longer possibly.
