Just ordered it because I can afford it and I like tech. Anyone commenting about costs of products on an Apple based website is delusional.

I agree that for someone that likes tech and has the money this isn’t a big deal. There’s a lot of overpriced tech that people buy. Just look at wireless mice with Qi chargers.

Not all Apple products are overpriced. If you stick with the base configurations, most are actually a good deal. I really think how Apple finances the base price models by convincing nerds to buy maxed out versions. That $599 Mac mini is subsidized by the person spending $2999 on one… Before someone looks up the price on the website. No I didn’t check these figures out. The exact number doesn’t change my point 😂

If it takes you 3 hours to drink your coffee in the morning and you still can't find your mug it'd be a better idea to invest in a Neurologist appointment.

Agreed. I was actually thinking if you regularly misplace your coffees or tea, you are not a true enthusiast anyway and should probably save your money 😁 My wife and I are coffee people and referring to it as “the elixir of life” is not an exaggeration in our home.

Whole bean, burr grinder, water just off boiling, French press, and everything weighed.

Yup. I use hot water to preheat the cup or mug and the coffee stays hot long enough for me to drink it. Just can’t imagine having a rechargeable mug with an app for that.

“Be there in a minute. I have to do a firmware update on my mug.”
