Good.

Biden has been a half decade nightmare. He has done less than nothing for USA.

Almost as if he intentionally sabotaged the country...
Is this sarcasm? Oh yeah all those record stock market runs were really terrible. And all those investments in infrastructure and high tech manufacturing. Totally an intentional sabotage. The guy who tried to overthrow an election though and constantly tells everyone how horrible America is, that guy, is great.

Of course not, that's silly. The infrastructure and labor force does not exist in the US to manufacture 600,000 iPhones per day, as it is in China. And if it did, just imagine how much more an iPhone (and other Apple products) would cost due to greatly increased wages and benefits.
It would exist if there was a will for it to exist instead of shipping money out of the country to get around paying American wages to Americans. There should be tax penalties for shipping money out of the country to get around labor, environmental, or other regulations -- why else even have them?

Also, it would cost more to build the iPhones in US for those reasons but that's not what dictates the selling price. They are two separate figures, the delta results in profit margins. They're constantly running the numbers on how much things cost, how much to charge for products and upgrades, etc. They can't simply pass on any tariff to the cost to the consumer because that will decrease sales. Maximizing profits and revenues has to balance these but ultimately its the consumer that determines what the market will pay.

Yes, Apple might have to give up some of their profit margins, which are very high (hence the what, $4,000,000,000,000 evaluation now?). For all the grumblings of capitalism etc people seem to love when Apple makes the best of it, and makes out like bank robbers, and suddenly hates taxes (tariffs) when it applies to $4,000,000,000,000 companies.

This is nothing more than Bizzare... Trump hates anyone who is Gay or Transgender, for an openly gay man such as Tim Cook to donate to a criminal is BIZZARE what is wrong with america.. i mean really.
I guess the algorithms told you that? President Trump has had homosexuals in past cabinets and other roles. Just don’t sexualize the children.

LOL, guess that’s why he appointed Richard Grenell, an openly gay man, as envoy for special missions.
Capitalism and Fascism are two peas in a pod
Let’s not forget Tim regularly sucks up to Xi Jinping, a real fascist, all the time…

Yes, the US is over $36T in debt, so the government doesn't have enough to pay for Presidential Inaugurations among other things...

Slackers should sell sponsorships instead of accepting handouts. /s

This Inaugural Address is brought to you by Wegovy! Ask a doctor if Wegovy is right for you!

It appears you totally misread the story with respect to what Cook "promised" to trump. I do understand that you're hoping that Apple suffers in some way.
Well the USA and Europe for that matter should build plants that could. Apple has the money to automate much of the process. Will it be more expensive, in the short term sure. But in the longer term it would provide the wisdom and knowledge to stay in the country. But as investors rule the world, this is surely not going to happen. They only want money in the short term.

China is surpassing us all if it hasn’t done already. New inventions mostly come from China these days. And Apple isn’t able to keep up with their smartphone and Mac business anyway. The quarterly numbers February 1 will proof Apple is losing ground in China at the same speed Nokia did when the iPhone came out.

What happens to the US car market when there won’t be any tariffs on Chinese cars? GM, Ford are already in big trouble and can’t keep up.

Why is the USA banning other Chinese mobile phone brands for selling in the USA? If they would allow it, the number of iPhones sold in the USA would mimic those of China in a heartbeat.

Trump wants to reverse that, but it should have happened at least 10 years ago. Apple has a choice to avoid those tariffs to produce in highly automated factories. It will cost a lot, but in the end it’s better for every us citizen.

Trump’s Inaugural Fund refers to the Donald Trump Presidential Inaugural Committee, which was responsible for organizing the celebrations for his inauguration as the 45th President of the United States in January 2017. This committee raised donations from individuals and corporations to cover the costs of events such as balls, concerts, and other festivities.

Key Aspects of the Fund:

1. Record-High Donations:

The fund raised approximately $107 million, more than double the amount raised by any previous inaugural fund.

2. Criticism and Controversies:

• Concerns were raised about the transparency and allocation of the funds.

• A significant portion of the money was reportedly spent on luxury goods, inflated payments to consultants, and extravagant events.

• Investigations later examined potential misuse of funds or illegal influence by donors seeking political favors.

3. Legal Disputes:

• In 2020, the Attorney General of Washington, D.C., filed a lawsuit against the committee, alleging that donations were used for the personal benefit of Trump’s family and businesses.

Summary:

Donald Trump’s Inaugural Fund remains a controversial topic, as questions about transparency, ethical conduct, and potential mismanagement of the funds continue to be discussed.

10 years of fan fiction derangement has taken its toll on the general population, for most.
In addition to being told the economy is stellar and inflation is cooled and crime is down, despite everyone's eyeballs observing differently.

..Did you not see the election results? It was a mandate. Not a single swing state fell for democratic garbage. He won popular vote too, to dispel 'muh popular vote though'.

Keep up whatever it is you're on about though. For you will need to be 10x louder than the average person to lead them to believe your opinion is that of 10 persons.

Tim Cook donating to Donald Trump's pocket is not a bad move.

A bribe, is that all it takes? Perhaps Canada should donate to Donald Trump's inauguration and he'll stop the 25% tariff Bull-💩-threats. And...before he tries to fire everyone in government services and replace them with family members and billionaires...educate him about Canada's trade surplus with the US. Canada is 41 million people, the US is approaching 340 million people; a much larger US population buying a lot of energy and resources from a much smaller population Canada. Ergo, there's a trade surplus.

I agree with Steve

I tend to blank out with the convicted criminal lawfare allegations. The plaintiff didn't even have to prove he was in Bergdorf Goodman's, and Judge Juan Merchan's take on hush money is conveniently prejudicial.

I wouldn't worry too much. Apple has a lot of incredibly smart people who are very experienced in gaming out what the company should be doing to keep it's 1+ Billion active and repeat customers happy and continuing to purchase Apple products.

Apple will do whatever is necessary to keep that going. They're not stupid. And is why Apple is one of the most successful tech companies in the world. They'll make the right decisions.

The sky isn't falling, though I know that disappoints a lot of people who don't like Cook and Apple.
