This is a walled city I built on my minecraft.
Wanted to share it, since I'm thinking of replicating it on our ppc minecraft world, if its ok with Keaton that is.
Keaton give Amadeus permanent creative already! D:
This world started out on my G5 Quad, then migrated to my old gaming PC, then moved to my Mac Pro now.
I don't know if you guys (or girls) r using any texture packs, anyway, i found those:

The one I use is the PureBDcraft, google it if your interested.
I use x128 on my mac pro, or modern computer, and x16 or x32 on powermacs with good vid cards.

Very cool you received this many views and replies about your minecraft server. I found most places are pretty cold when it comes to posts like this. I've had several servers for years that don't seem to gain traction in terms of userbase. Good to see there are other MC players here

That's because this is very unique. There is only one server in all of MacRumors (I think). This is for the MacRumors community.
Most Minecraft servers are the same and they are for the Minecraft community and they are posted on Minecraft forum or other websites with a billion other servers exactly alike.
Good point. I haven't seen any mention of other MacRumors specific servers. I posted on those forums before, it's pointless unless you pay a ton of cash to have your server bumped to the top. And yeah, they really are all the same (including mine). I suppose it comes down to the community of people using it. The guy I run it with and I basically said if nobody joins, fine, at least we have a spot to play without the annoyances of other "public" servers

if You Go back a Few Pages I have a 266Mhz G3 Beige running Minecraft so that fits LOL I quite Like the G3 Beige but I wish I had a ADB Keyboard and mouse for it so i could pass low level open firmware commands to it.
I think I read that post, was that the one about getting 3FPS?
I liked my G3, and at the time it was a very fast machine. The only thing it crawled at was anything Internet related for some reason. It was a massive upgrade when we got our 400MHz G4 tower.
I have an Apple Design keyboard and kensington mouse for my beige g3. I think I'm going to part out this G3 as I had enough of it. I just looked on ebay and it looks like i'll get quite some money for that keyboard
it just needs some cleaning.I'm stumped on what to do with the power supply.... I really like that fan and I want to salvage it but the power supply works fine (I think) and I wouldn't want to ruin it. I can't power it up without the mother board (connect green to black), it doesnt do anything. I asked MacRumors but nobody knew anything. So that I might just do is take out the fan and throw away (actually recycle) the psu.
Server problems today, we were building and got booted off, havent been able to get back on yet..
