I think it better if someone else do it on their network. If you do it on your own you will make the network slower and server laggier. It's already slow as it is.
Really? It shouldn't be very slow at all? Is it block place/delete lag?

No, it just has a high ping. I never noticed and problems while playing though, only that number high. It is usually about 200 or 300, not sure at the moment though...
P.S. 4th page!
Odd, could it be your connection?
Just tested now, usually about 190-230 ms with one player on right now. Oh I forgot to mention, when someone teleports in the server there is a long lag spike to wait out. More or less
I could potentially do something like this, or create a live map.
I had no clue that even existed
Odd, well I am doing some server upgrades, just mainly java updates and plugin stuff, it'll be down for a bit.
Yeah, don't worry, I've run an MC server since 2011
I had no clue that even existed
72012 for me... Hahaha, I believe 1.4.7 was what I started with.
That should fix some stuff, the fact that the plugins were either too new or too old definitely has an effect on performance. I'm thinking it will run smoother now, less lag. I had that happen on my server where all my plugins were out of date and I updated each one and it greatly redueced the lag.

I started playing when 1.5.1 was current (same as this server ) and bought the game soon afterwards (I accidentally 'cracked' the game without knowing it due to a glitch )
The problem is, the server is on 1.5.1, so we can't really update our plugins beyond that, since Bukkit changes a lot of stuff between releases (ARGH!)
I never really liked bukkit...Ikr, bukkit killed me with every release because plugins would break or I would have to wait until a certain one was updated. At one point I had 10 worlds and 30 plugins running on the server, and boy was it awesome.
Also, we're responding at like real time to each other's comments lol
Also, just to clarify, I started playing at 1.3.x, and really got into it on 1.4. I got my server started at 1.4.7. I went through about 4 worlds before I got to the one I'm using now. I destroyed each of them because I got a little to excited with WorldEdit and, well, TNT pyramids and Lava spheres aren't good ideas.
I never really liked bukkit...
I once hosted a "free op" server on my MacBook Pro. Each player got level 2 op. It was awesome.
It was a vanilla server, not Bukkit. I got about 20-30 players, with the players heavily taxing the server with tnt and lava and dragons and bla bla. It was awesome and it lasted for a few days, but it was stressful and I gave it up. I started thinking about actually turning it into a full server and I was flipping around changing my goal. One person kept building so I tried bukkit and turning it into a creative server and bla bla bla and ugh it was a mess
I stopped using Bukkit and switched to Spigot, or bukkit on drugs. It used bukkit plugins, but was so much more powerful.
I love when that happens. If only this forum had live updating threads we could have a swift discussion like a chat without loading different pages.
Maybe the switch to XenForo will introduce that... dunno.

Heh.
Are you still hosting the server or did you give it up?
Keaton, check your private messages please, sent you one.
The biggest issue is that the server is using 1GB of RAM out of the 4GB available, mainly because McMyAdmin needs a license to remove the cap (on RAM and players), which kinda sucks a lot. If you guys would really like a speedboost, it would be nice (for you guys) to chip in $12 on PayPal to get a Pro license. Not a big deal, but just saying. I could not use McMyAdmin, but its kinda a pain and the WebUI is very nice for what it is, just allows me to quickly manage stuff on the fly.
