Im still having issues with getting Minecraft 1.5.1 working on any of my PPC's. I've downloaded the app from the first page of the thread, and it still says 1.5.2, I don't know if this is normal, but help would be appreciated!

It should work fine with the server.

Ok, because the reason I posted that is because of this message coming up, I thought it was due to the fact that my version of Minecraft was newer than what the server allowed.

Yeah, sadly it is. I'll upload my .jar of 1.5.1. It also includes the PowerPC sound bug fix.

Does this have the sound fix?
I believe the sound fix is in the natives folder, not the jar. I could be wrong though.
EDIT: it doesn't, but I'm uploading a whole pack like Surrat.

Thanks Keaton, for some odd reason that message has been coming up for me ever since this thread was started

Ok, odd, I haven't seen any other people have issues.

You may have used an early download link that we posted. I recall one of the first versions we posted being 1.5.2 and it not working. Lucky for me I already had a version backed up on my MBP from the old days of MC

Another error: I think my Java install might be broken. Any suggestions on how to restart from scratch??

It looks like your opening a jar that cannot be executed. That is probably the jar that you put in the .Minecraft folder

Use the one I linked. It is Amadaeus' launcher rehosted on kevin's databarn. This should work.
Drag the minecraft library into your Application Support folder, then use the Minceraft 1.5.1 Starter AppleScript to use it.
This is what most people around here are using to run Minecraft on their PPCs.

Yeah, I just remembered something, for school I had to download a program for my programming class. The application is a .jar file and it works fine.

Mines the same one, I just added a readme and a 1.5.1 jar. Soon, I'd like to code an actual installer for it.

This is not working for me I have no idea why. Can you guys post your specs/OS so I can try and see whats going on? Thanks! New error btw

Sorry, just a question: can you stop uploading files to MEGA? It's totally broken on PPC macs (and any system really) and I can't download any file with any browser... :(
That said, I cannot run this version of MC, it says that the Classic mode isn't supported anymore...

Another reason not to upload to MEGA is that it was founded by an arrogant criminal ******* and may be shut down at any minute. Click the link and read the article. It is very interesting, and freaky to find out that this guy founded MEGA.

Hmm, FYI the server may go down randomly. The drive is about 2GB full and I don't have another one thats larger to put in it. Ideally, I'd buy a 1TB, but I'm down and out since the dang cinema display bracket didn't fit.

For some reason it won't allow me to download, keeps saying it can't connect. I would really love to play Minecraft!
