While the cost of living is higher where my brother is going to college, it sure beats L.A.

Craigslist can be a nightmare for me because there are 88 cities within L.A. County lines, and I think L.A. CL also includes San Bernardino, which is a region in itself. But obviously Craigslist isn't a priority or something :p

I have several PPC macs, but when I try to run 1.5.1 on them, and use my legit mojang login, it says cannot connect. I finally gave up and set up a profile on my mac pro to use 1.5.1 and got in with no trouble.

Pity nobody was there! lol, I'll keep visiting, hope to run into somebody eventually. The giant powermac near the spawn is pretty cool !

If you see Amadaeus playing, thats me !

There is almost always nobody there :( I have never even seen anyone online on the server yet
 
Lol, ok, another time then :)

I was exploring that giant G5, I wonder who gave it that weenie video card! It needs ATI x850xt like mine has. :D

I wish the server allowed build mode, I enjoy building more than farming and fighting monsters.

The desk and everything under and above the desk is protected. You can build anywhere else though.
 
Oh, I didnt mean to build on top of other peoples items, I just meant wander around, find a nice spot and make something so I can say "I made that!".

keaton please turn on hostile mobs, it is still disabled. I really need string and I have no way to get it. Also snow golems do not work.

And thank you for hosting this nice server (to balance out the negative sounding stuff). :p

The PowerMac was build by Keaton and I, which our usernames on here are the same as on MC, incase anyone was wondering

Keaton there is a very dangerous 'glitch' in your server that people can 'exploit' to get any item from creative mode. It's not exactly a 'glitch', it is just a command that is enabled by default to all users, which you probably don't know. It's the /world command, and it lets players switch to different worlds. Worlds like the nether, end, and even your superflat world in creative mode.
/world 0 is the overworld
/world 1 is the nether
/world 2 is the end
/world 3 is the Creative world.
Players can go to your creative world by /world 3, give themselves a trillion diamonds, and enjoy them in the survival world.

The most important thing is that you make the creative world have separate inventories for players. So if you go to the creative world from a survival world, your inventory gets stored away and replaced by your creative world inventory.

Or you may want to disable the /world command.

I dont see a problem with this and think its fine.

This MC was never listed as a RP or survival-only. If you want to play survival, you can, if you want to just build, you can do that too. As long as it doesnt lead to griefing, or problems, I hope he leaves it how it is.

Oh, and Keaton, I still cant log in to MC with my G5, and have had no luck searching online for the PPC version of 1.5.1. Will 1.5.2 work?

On your G5 you need to play in offline mode. It will still let you login to the server. And no, 1.5.2 will not wok, the server is running 1.5.1 and does not support 1.5.2. I'm sure someone could host the 1.5.1 files on their Dropbox or something.

The plugin for the separate world inventories broke recently, I don't know why. I'll take a look at it again.

Well, the super flat world was for creative experimentation, if need be. I think 1.5.2 works fine? Its been a bit.
