Have fun getting breathed on by science deneyers with faked vaccination cards….

I believe in science, and would close that store for the duration of the pandemic.
Spend less time reading online fear porn, and focus more on being healthy. That's how real science works.

The science of closing businesses for duration of the pandemic isn't gonna work when you have something that simply doesn't go away even when you're vaccinated, because it keeps evolving. We already tried this before. Small businesses were shut down, while large businesses were allowed to operated at lower capacity. It only helped the rich to get richer, and poor to get poorer. Nothing else.

Everything I have read about the Delta variant says it is not more deadly, but since the infection rate is 6, six other people are infected by each infected person, versus an infection rate of 2 for the Alpha variant. Also, vaccinated people can get it and unknowingly infect others since they may have none or just mild symptoms and do not get tested or isolate.
Sounds like we need another lockdown and flatten the curve

Double jabbed people carry the same amount of virus as unjabbed. Therefore they are equal spreaders. Fwiw, I have had both AZ jabs

double jabbed people are more likely protected.

i'm going to emphasize the "likely" protected part.

LIKELY protected.

How is a variant the started in India and really only killing unvaccinated people blamed on Americans 100% or really at all.. Quit gas lighting.

because unvaccinated people are exponentially more likely to spread COVID once it arrived on American shores. if we had heard immunity, hospitals wouldn’t be turning away children and cancer patients right now. No one is gaslighting the origin of the variant, it’s that the origin isn’t relevant. What’s relevant the is American super spreaders who think they know more than the medical community—until they need it to save their life from COVID.

And other anti-science nonsense …

Luckily delta seems to be dramatically less lethal. Which is wonderful news. Hopefully that trend continues and everyone get kappa variant and it makes no difference because it is not deadly.
It's much more contagious and as we know, variants are created when the virus is passed through a lot of people that don't take precautions. We are not out of the delta woods yet.

The Delta Variant started in India in Dec 2020, long before either country had even a percentage of their population vaccinated, and according to the CDC is spread just as easily by people with or without the covid vaccines. It is also less lethal which is why most people never know they were carrying it. The only thing that the vaccine is buying you is better chance against severe symptoms or death.

But hey, at least you'll get lots of likes by spreading hate against people that are weighing their risks vs vaccines that 9 months and 100's of millions of doses later still do not have full FDA approval and still have their manufacturers protected from any liability.

CDC:
- Unvaccinated people remain the greatest concern: "...breakthrough infections happen much less often than infections in unvaccinated people..."
- Fully vaccinated people with Delta variant breakthrough infections can spread the virus to others. However, vaccinated people appear to be infectious for a shorter period.

Don't even try to suggest vaccines don't help prevent spread. If you don't get the virus because you're vaccinated, it literally prevented the spread. If you happen to get it when you're vaccinated, the infectious period is shorter, so less time for the virus to spread from your body onto others.

But hey, sounds like you enjoy helping evolve the next variant that could set us back another year because you didn't feel like getting vaccinated.

Legit question if anyone can answer.....at what point in the past year did people stop referring to shots as shots and instead started calling them jabs?
Remember a few months ago when things started to reopen including the acceleration of mass shootings once again?

Yes, and guess what? That's less than 1 percent of the total population of the United States. I don't want to sound glib, but are you seriously going to let a tiny fraction of a percent ruin everyone else's life and dictate how the rest of the nation should act? I would hope not. It sucks that that people have to say goodbye to their loved ones, but life moves on.

In the words of one Yoda, "Death is a natural part of life." Live your life to the fullest, and if it's your time to go, it's your time to go.

lol every anti-Vaxxer is getting dumped on here and they are getting seriously butthurt to the point of writing a dissertation they downloaded from Prager and Ben Shapiro

It did originate in China.

that’s a fact. Nobody hates China for that except for silly chuds. Don’t make this political it’s about saving lives. But the description is accurate

why waste time for feels?
So you see no parallels in the rise of hate crimes against Asians in the same year that America blamed China for the virus?

depends, actually. Delta is first variant to present meaningful death or serious illness risk to children. Overflowing and now tuning away sick at pediatric hospitals wasn’t the case until the delta variant.

The anti-maskers and anti-vaxers are 100% to blame for these variants and this never ending pandemic (in the US at least). Yet, these are the same fools who are saying 'enough is enough' but did nothing (and continue to do nothing) to help fight it.

We were attacked, we had the weapon to combat it and win, but no, half the nation is part of a cult who felt the need to side with the enemy (Covid) just to own the libs. Even though their cult leaders are fully vaccinated. Idiots.

And now, unvaccinated people are dying from a 99% preventable virus/disease. And the cycle will continue as we try to chase variants with boosters. We learned nothing in the 100 years since the last pandemic, despite having the technology and money to end it.
As a person who is vaccinated I have to say your entire post dispels ignorance. It's the fault of the affected Countries//Counties/States/Regions for not cracking down on rules. For example on June 15th people that were fully vaccinated were allowed to remove their masks in the gyms. The governor of the state should've put out a mandate that gyms were required to make the vaccinated members show proof of their vaccination before removing their masks. Instead 1 month later 99% of the gyms were unmasked. Nowhere in hell were the majority of the members there vaccinated but the gym said they were on an "honor system" and did not require proof of vaccine.

That’s more cases than Australia or NZ needs to lockdown the whole continent 😅 well done Apple
Nz actually had a means of doing contact tracing….makes more sense there since they could actually stop it
So now we're comparing variants? You do realize that there are currently 13 other variants (at least one originated in US) but sure, make COVID about a countries like Trump made it about China instead of about healthcare and people.
That's what you got out of that? The point is that Delta...which is the current problem came out of India and that what American's do have little to do with that variant and what we are experiencing now. Along with that, variants will continue to popup as long as there is large parts of the planet that are unnvaccinated. America with 55+ plus vaccinated and 70% of people over 18 isn't the problem. Modern Vaccinated countries arn't going to be the likely place for new variants to thrive in.

You do know that vaccinated people carry the same viral load as the un-vaxxed, and can spread it just as easily? It's no different than catching a cold or the flu -- and you can die from all three (due to pneumonia).

It's time for this pansie-ass world we live in to put on their adult pants and face the world.
You do know that vaccinated are less likely to get infected in the first place, right?

lol every anti-Vaxxer is getting dumped on here and they are getting seriously butthurt to the point of writing a dissertation they downloaded from Prager and Ben Shapiro
Actually it’s the pro-vaxxers that are now reaching for things like “mentioning China is racist” and “some nerd incel didn’t have a school to shoot up”.

Those arguments are massive copes when you have 652000 dead in USA alone. Vax should be mandatory but you guys are cringe AF with the adjunct college professor talking points

If I worked there, I wouldn't feel save knowing that my store would only close if 25% of the team (!!!) is infected.
I don't think you understand how it works. If an employee tests positive they are forced to be off work for 14 days and they must re-test with a negative result before returning to work. Say there are 100 employees then 25% of them are 25 people sent home for 14 days. The store generally can run on a skeleton crew but after 25% they must close the store due to lack of staff and for sanitizing the store.
