I got a departure scan from Kentucky but no arrival in Newark yet. Not super worried about it but it’s a little weird. I think I’ve had this happen before and it’ll just arrive at my local hub at some point (hopefully lol)

Uhhh mine still says “import scan” should I be worried?

Probably not. Depending on your time zone there’s still roughly 12 hours to get it where it needs to go. Trust me, UPS will be scrambling double time to make sure all Apples 11/3 phones get delivered tomorrow. This is a huge huge huge contract. I’ve had a packages make it across the US in that time and be delivered in time for non-Apple shipping.

Any Chicago users see anything since the departure scan?

I'm in Vernon Hills (NW suburbs) and mine is still in KY. Not worried at all, though. I've never had a problem with a package not arriving on launch day, and I'm off work tomorrow anyway.

Looks like I won't have my cases in by tomorrow, though, since the USPS morons "missent" the package from Palatine to Aurora.

Let’s all just take a moment to be thankful we are not a customer service representatives for UPS or Apple. Seeing so many people saying they keep calling just makes me SMH.

(And no, I did not call. I’m sure it will get on another plane after sort.)
I work for s company that has CSRs and they take a pounding. You wouldn't believe how many people call threaten and curse them out and all they are doing is trying to help.

Glad I picked the correct flight

Yep. It’s dumb really. Ever heard don’t bite the hand that feeds you? Doesn’t take much for someone deliberately mess up shipping...

Mine departed KY (live in the city) around 5pm. Assuming truck since no flight, but expect an arrival scan around 9:30 or 10.

Maybe they trucked some of them to the NE mine departed at 2:22pm and if they flew to Newark it would’ve been there around 5 pm via air. I’ve had packages skips scans before though. Seems kind of risky driving it with that timing though. It’s gotta be 11ish hours. That’s 2 am and then it’s gotta go to my local hub.

I’ve seen it happen though. It really is amazing how they get so many products across the country in such a short timeframe.

I don't know if this question has been asked but lets say, the package was supposed to be sent to my parents house to which I have it held at my local UPS Hub. It says that my address on my drivers license needs to match the address on the package. And if not bring a bill or package with my name on it. I don't live with my parents and I'm only 19 so I don't have any bills.

Shouldn't my ID be enough if the package is in my name?

My address don’t match the package neither so I’m taking my DL, copy of UPS order with tracking number and email from T-Mobile detailing order.
