Just noticed that the pending charge for my phone has disappeared from my Amex transaction list. My order still exists though, for Nov 21-28.

Any one have any idea why?

Yep. It’s dumb really. Ever heard don’t bite the hand that feeds you? Doesn’t take much for someone deliberately mess up shipping...
I worked in customer service for years and although I *might* have thought about sabotaging I never would have done it. I don’t believe the vast majority of reps would even consider it. How about just simply respecting us because we are humans just trying to do a job and do it to the best of our ability.

Last year UPS didn’t make it to my home for delivery on a Friday. I waited all day and nothing happened. I called and scheduled it for pickup at the Local CC UPS hub for Saturday morning. They are open 8-12pm on Saturdays. While I was on my way to the UPS hub. UPS was delivering my Jet Black iPhone to my home. On a Saturday. Luckily my wife was there to sign. So I know that UPS is serious about delivery. They are union drivers that get paid Double time after a 8 hour work day. They’re not like FedEx. No offense to any f***Ex employee’s. Lol

Merchants create an Authorization on a credit card just to make sure you have the funds. If the Authorization is not captured, however, it automatically disappears after a few days. Apple doesn't actually charge you until your unit ships, so that's likely why it disappeared.

It's basically a temporary hold on the funds.

Dang my Phone must be shipping by horse and carriage. Departure at 12:46 and still nothing. Maybe it wasn't headed to BWI after all lol.

Ah, thanks.

Starting to get slightly worried. Last scan was an import scan in KY. Phone shopping to Oakland. Still no movement. Does UPS ever slack on their tracking updates? Because I know there was already a plane to Oakland

Breaking NEWS- 313 iPhone X were stolen today in San Francisco out of a UPS Truck that was delivering to a Apple Store in San Francisco.
Dang! I thought you were joking. But no this is real. Hope this doesn’t affect us SF area individuals.

Yea I don't think your phone was on that Oakland plane, mine was and got an arrival scan. There are some late-night flights though. If the estimate still says Nov 3rd, it'll arrive on time
