Definitely this, UPS will hold them till Friday. It's been known that they can and this year is no different than last year. Sure you could get import scan on Tuesday but it won't move till Thursday night.
We don’t know anything. We only can assume. I think we will get them Wednesday, at least most of us, but there is a possibility we won’t.
I have two store pickups and both allowed me to create a wallet pass. One is IUP the other is Verizon decide payments. The pass is literally just a barcode with the order number.
Possible... last year when I pre-ordered the iPhone 11 Pro Max there was no holding at any local UPS depot. It was delivered on release day. It made its trek from
China to US in two days. So if they do end up in the USA by Tuesday I’d say there is a slight possibility of a early delivery.

It's the Parcel. But I use the Deliveries app, thats my go to app and I use the time.

did you not get to change it when u were ordering it?Ive called apple twice to change the shipping address to the correct one, and when I find the shipment on UPS it still says its going to NY (old address)

Just got an email this morning for the AppleCare+ Proof of Coverage on my iPhone 12 Pro PB. It expires on 10/16/22. Apple I’d like my $2 back for not getting the phone until later this week lol 🤣
Apple store didnt allow me to order till 5.03 am, got confirmation email on 5.04am with delivery date of 10/30-11/04

Don't bet on getting them too early. I could see some lucky people getting theirs on Thursday but I can't see it happening for Wednesday. Apple usually puts a pretty heavy smackdown on UPS with these sort of things.
Woke up to find mine (256 Pacific blue heading to Portland, OR) in the UPS app with a tentative date of 10/21 and an origin scan in ZhengZhou. Not that I actually expect delivery before the 23rd, but yay tracking info! 😆
Usually! That’s a key word. I’m not saying it’s going to happen. I’m not even holding my breath. But to the people who are adamantly saying it’s impossible I’d say “watch the impossible happen” lol
I think it's the Deliveries App that decided to go with the subscription based.
I’m willing to bet that is what happens this time too. As far as I know, no one has movement passed a facility arrival scan in China, and I’m guessing we will all fly out at the same time. When that happens exactly is anyone’s guess
Although people will argue with me, both phones were essentially the same this year outside of the camera, extra RAM and finishes. This year’s Pros are definitely for the photographers and it’s pretty obvious.
I currently have the 11Pro and I didn’t use half the features on this phone. Soooo, why spend the extra cash.

Yep, looks like they used "Home Delivery" service. which does deliver on Sundays as well.

I downloaded the app but it’s asking to obtain a subscription ugh!!! I remember this app used to be free 🙄

I've heard that if you ordered though carrier like Verizon, and they ship via fedex, you can't request a hold for pick up, you have to wait for the 1st delivery attempt and then after that you should be able to. I've had no issues with requesting a hold for pick up with Fedex but they are orders from apple.com. It's funny how they see that Apple has put a restrictions but I had no issues with fedex honoring the requests.

That's the app I have. I don't remember being it free. I remember paying for that app when I first got it.
Last year my 11 pro max sat in KY since tuesday, then import scan on Thursday and was on it's way on release day. Again this year won't be different. Even if the phones get to KY early, it will sit there for couple of days, and get import scan on Wednesday and Thursday and ship overnight for Friday delivery.
