What Apple phone do you have that uses 5G now ?

This was on my Note 20. That doesn’t matter though using an old SIM vs the new one on the iPhone will have the same effect.

I have two 12Pros ordered for launch day pickup. One SIM Free Apple Card 24 mo financing, one VZ IUP financing. Both graphite 128G.

For the SIM Free order, I have this extra section in the Apple App for pickup instructions and ability to add a Wallet pass that my VZ order doesn’t have:

Any idea if this is because of the different carrier or payment types OR does this indicate some different stage of order processing? The SIM Free was ordered ~10 minutes before the VZ

Mine showed up in My UPS this morning also. Shows to be delivered on 10/21 but we all know Apple won't allow that to happen before 10/23.

It’s because of the vzw stuff. There is more verification there than just scan and pickup.

Ordered clear silicone case for iPhone 12 and MagSafe. got email that both were shipped 2 days ago and tracking number.
MagSafe delivered today by fedex but no updates about case since than. No tracking info. Both were showing 18th delivery date.
Called Apple. Apple told me that case was lost or stolen. It never was handled to Fedex. They started investigation for package. And asked me to re-order new one but new one now showing 3 week delivery window. Thats crazy.

My case said delivery yesterday. But the fedex status is still on “shipment info sent” I am thinking it hasn’t been handed off yet. Going to see what happens tomorrow, they have them at my local Apple store so I might order there just in case.

What made you choose the iPhone 12 over the 12 pro? I’m trying to make a decision on what to get if the extra money for the 12 pro is worth it or not. Had 11 pro max before but got tired of the size.

if I am swapping phones with my wife, when my new phone arrives do I just take the SIM out and put it in the other phone before turning it on? So I also wipe my phone and put my wife's SIM into my current phone (11 Pro Max)?

Ive called apple twice to change the shipping address to the correct one, and when I find the shipment on UPS it still says its going to NY (old address)

Called Apple again. Since its their fault they will refund me for clear case and asked if I can order again silicone case instead of clear case since clear case showing 2-3 weeks window. Ordered Orange one. its not that I originally wanted. So Apple told me that they will waive price for me. So free case from Apple. Thanks Apple

That happened to me with the new 20W USB-C Adapter.

Ordered last Tuesday, received shipping confirmation from Apple on Tuesday that it would arrive Thursday. Thursday morning it still showed "label created." I called Friday morning and the Apple rep insisted that it would arrive by end of day Friday. I told her what FedEx tracking showed and she basically said "We see more updated information."

Anyway, I called support yesterday morning and they agreed that it was never handed to FedEx. The rep credited the order and is sending a replacement.

So, I’m with Verizon and this was my first time pre-ordering from Apple. It seems like the consensus here is to use the SIM that the phone comes with? I assume I would need to contact Verizon to activate the SIM before going through my normal set-up process? I paid full-price, if that helps.
