Don't get caught up in tracking so early on. My iPhone X was in China the day before release day and I still got it on time.

You would have chosen sim free when it asked for a carrier and not chosen a carrier I don’t think it shows on the order

Anyone buy their carrier model and paid in full through apple instead of SIM free? I found out I can still get the 12 for $849 if I picked the AT&T version. Guess I’ll just have to call them and ask if they can waive the upgrade fee.

Since I'm on prepaid the carrier models were not an option since I didn't want to go back to postpaid at this time.

Caught up in the rush of all this to decide to pre-order now and not just, maybe, order a month from now. And I needed to find out if I had a home for my existing 11 before I decided. Didn't hear back until Saturday morning that I did, so I didn't have to consider the trade in route.

if I am swapping phones with my wife, when my new phone arrives do I just take the SIM out and put it in the other phone before turning it on? So I also wipe my phone and put my wife's SIM into my current phone (11 Pro Max)?

I tried changing mine to a customer center it says Wednesday still.

That's because the phone will arrive at your local depot on Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. It is very likely that it will be held and be available for pickup or Out for Delivery on Friday.
