I wish I was apart of the 10/23 crew. I tried very hard to log in at 8:00am but the website kept crashing. I had very few moments to make the order and unfortunately I had to focus on work and was not able to order until 10:00 am. I am now miserably stuck in the 11/6-11/13 window. It is just so frustrating because this was my very first iphone after being team android since the Motorola Droid 2. I am very disappointed in this experience so far but I found that my apple products I recently purchased (Apple Watch SE and Airpods pro) were delivered before their anticipated date. It is a miserable feeling knowing I have to wait 2-3 weeks later then everyone else because Apple didn't allow me to make the purchase at the time everyone else did.

Looking forward to joining the Apple crew when I see my order is shipped :/

My Apple Watch was released by customs within 12 hours or so! I don’t think it’ll take a full day or 2.

Yup FedEx delivers on Sunday. They were just delivering packages in the same complex I was delivering packages in.

See if they have options to pickup in store available. You can still get it on the 23rd I think depending on the model

For those of you that got the Graphite one: I've noticed that some of the pics of this particular color are very similar to the Space Gray model from last year, but I've seen other pics of it being completely black! IIRC, there was even a black one shown by Apple somewhere... thoughts?

I live in the DC/MD/VA area and every single model in the Pacific Blue from 128-512GB is completely unavailable. I was even willing to drive 50-60 miles for one but they are completely sold out. I called the support line about 3-4 times trying to see if my order could get expedited shipping and they said no possible chance.


The biggest issue was that I was not able to complete the purchase on my ipad. I had it loaded up ready to go but unfortunately I had to leave around 7:20 am and could not bring my ipad. It was a very frustrating moment because my job cost me 3 weeks of ability to use the new phone. I was counting on using it to go to the mountains when the leaves were changing and now im stuck using my crappy OnePlus camera.

Dang! I should have requested time off or something. So I don’t run through these risk! Well you can always order the PRO MAX model when that opens up.

Now that I can see my shipment on UPS, one of the options is to hold at a CC near me instead of having it delivered at home.
Has anyone ever tried that before? I read somewhere that they don't hold it at Customer Center for Apple and UPS website also says that they might not hold very expensive packages.

Can someone please explain how to I track the phone on the UPS website? What do I put in for reference number? And is it freight or package ?
