Mine is almost exactly this, except my origin scan on the 17th was 5min earlier lol
Main issue for me is that I am trading in my launch day iPhone X for $800 credit on this new phone. Aka getting the 12 for like 2$ a month. That has to be through a preorder. So if I hold or cancel this actual phone headed to ny and just re order I basically lose $800
I got the AppleCare email also. Where did you type in your serial number?
I have a package coming from Amazon, delivery date Monday (tomorrow). I can only reschedule delivery past two days. So yeah, that means nothing. Not saying you are wrong but I wouldn’t base what’s going to happen on what rescheduling is allowed on UPS.
Just found mine by reference. I’ve got the 11:27 scan and delivery date of 10/21 also. Can’t wait!
Same with mine which leads me to believe Apple has a hold on delivery until Friday.

I believe I put in the hold request a few days before pickup/delivery. It was definitely far enough in advance.
Mine is ups next day air lol. showing for Wednesday and I requested it to be picked up at ups access point location
Mine hasn't shipped yet but I'm in France and Apple often ships products via DHL rather than UPS.
Yup, the UPS Customer Counter will hold for 5 business days.
Remember to make the hold request BEFORE it gets to the local customer counter location.
Once it's loaded on the delivery truck, it's too late and you will have to wait the next day.
I have a genuine question... if we aren’t getting the phones early (which no one knows yet really), why is every getting delivery dates of the 21st? Every other year delivery dates were always on release date. Period. I never had it show any different for me and for most others that preordered. Yeah there was sometimes that exception where one package would show a early delivery date.
