I’ve never understood why they never do a ProductRed in the high end phone. It’d be so much easier to find in the car when I drop it between the seat and the center hump! 😬

I have a feeling they might do it next year. If so, take my 💵.

Don't recall exactly where the request to "hold at UPS" is, but make sure you only select the CC for same day pickup of the delivery. Selecting a UPS Store, or other locations, is just like waiting for it to be delivered to your home but then you have to get to that location and hope they are still open.

I have picked up at the CC for about 5 years in a row now and it has been an easy mid-morning drive to a very calm location and then I drive back home with the phone about 6 hours before it would have been delivered on my street. Occasionally I have driven to the Apple Store on the way home just to see how things are going, but I'll skip that this year unless I can find an accessory in the store for pickup that morning that is not shipping for a few weeks.

If you are waiting on a phone for several weeks before scheduled delivery, definitely check on availability in your Apple Store. I got Series 6 Watch on first day while I had my original order expected to deliver some 10 days out.

Don't get caught up in tracking so early on. My iPhone X was in China the day before release day and I still got it on time.

They'll get here in time for 99.999% of people.

Just stopped by to whine. Ordered my blue, 256MB pro, 15 minutes after midnight. The first 15 minutes were NOT working on the app or on the apple store using my iPhone, which have been said to be the best in the past. I think my trade-in was causing issues... can't be certain. Stuff just wouldn't load. It worked at 1215 when I switched to Chrome on Windows, the irony!! Anyways, it is still processing, and still says Nov 3-6, meanwhile some of ya'lls might be coming earlier than release. Ugh FOMO Lol. I thought by choosing the 256 it would at least help speed things along, but now I think perhaps they made the base model maybe 100 to 1 the larger capacities? Anyways, GL to all who had and may have coming success!

i wish the MagSafe either came with 2m or detached so you could attach the cable of your choice. 1m isn’t long enough for me.

I totally agree! I did order the MagSafe but have thought of canceling my order with that short cord. I know one is coming with a longer cord one day, but I’m too impatient to wait for that to happen.

AT&T has said that a new card OR your current SIM card that you put into your new phone will both get 5G. I think T-Mobile has some other features if you use a new SIM card.

LMAO, yes because 20 watt is a massive amount of energy... Extension cord will work just fine, just like it works fine for a random 1000 watt appliance or vacuum cleaner.

For what I remember from other pre-orders the tracking number remains in "preparing for shipment" until one or two days before delivery date. They send the phones in an european located warehouse and the tracking info are updated only when the phones are in the final delivery company hands.

I made the 2 hour window request inside of the 8:30-12:30 range and once I made the request it took my whole window away and said by 9. Now I lost that and that date lol

That happened to several of us during the AppleWatch 6 deliveries. I’m not requesting changes with that Pro Max!
