So it's Tuesday morning in China. I don't think we'll see any update overnight however I do expect to see an activity early morning so maybe within 10-12 hours???

Even if you don't put your phone in a case, a good quality screen protector like those from Zagg should be on every iPhone buyers list. I've had a Zagg glass on every iPhone I've ever owned since the 4, and I've never had to replace a single screen. Every year Apple says this new model has the strongest screen yet, blah blah blah, and every year the cost of screen replacement goes up. With discount on the website the top of the line InvisiShield protector from Zagg runs 35 bucks, and replacements are free through mail as long as you return the broken original. If you're not comfortable changing the protector yourself most malls have a Zagg kiosk where they'll do it for you for 10 bucks.
Honestly this should be a no brainer on a thousand dollar piece of hardware you take everywhere with you.
Well said! I feel the same way. I use BodyGuardz for all of my phones and iPad's. Free replacements as well. My protector just came for the 12 Pro Max and the phone has not been released yet.

My delivery date also changed from 10/21 to “check back”. I had little hope of an early delivery but it would have been nice.

Had that happen with my X a month before the 11’s came out. Was due to the battery swelling. Apple replaced the whole 2-yr old phone. I had AC+ but they said it would have online cost $49 without it.
49 bucks for an obvious component defect? Yeah I wouldn't have paid it.
Absolutely, I did have a Zagg screen protector on it. I think that’s the reason I have just the one big crack instead of a multitude of cracks. My Zagg for the 12 Pro is arriving tomorrow.
Yeesh, that must have been a hell of a drop. My X went face down onto a Portland roadway while I was participating in the Rose Parade a couple years back and the protector was toast, looked like my phone had been used for batting practice. I thought for sure I'd be on the hook for an entire screen replacement until the kiosk employee pulled off the protector and the glass underneath was good as new.

Sooooooo, I was doing some investigating and for those of you that got the IP12Pro, I found a “leaked” unboxing. The phone is preeeety!

Link? Never mind. For some reason the link wasn’t showing for me.

If you did the 24 payments on Apple Card it’s 0%. If you just paid in full without the payment plan on the card then no. It will be due on your next statement. If you carry a balance after that you will get your APR charged.

It would have been a year out of warranty had I not had AC+.

While I see your logic, I just want to play devil's advocate for a second. I haven't used a case since the iPhone X. As the screen sizes have gotten bigger, I've found adding cases makes the phones too bulky for my liking. On top of that, I hate the idea of covering the phone designs with a case. The iPhone Upgrade Program comes with Apple Care+ and the deductible for a shattered screen is $29. That's $6 less than the price of your case. I think careful people can live without a case (with the worst case scenario being paying $29 for a replacement screen). Of course, if you crack it once and have it replaced, I would seriously consider putting a case on it after fixing it because my recollection is that Apple Care + only covers two instances of accidental damage.

I really think it comes down to the person. I have friends in the construction industry who would break their phone once every two weeks without a case. Conversely, I sit at a desk and try to be very careful with my phone. It's not uncommon for me to only drop my phone once every few months, if at all.

I see this status in UPS tracking: "Apple volume at origin pending departure on Charter Aircraft as scheduled." That's something I have not seen before. Kind of cool.
