I had a problem with my order with AT&T and had to cancel the order and retry through Apple at about 1:30pm PT Friday. Delivery now is Oct 28-30. No movement yet. Do I have a chance on getting it earlier?

Another guess is that Apple shipped on Cargolux 9781. And westbound flights fly faster because of the wind direction.
FlightRadar24 lists that flight as going to Chicago, not ANC

Wait! majority of us are on CAO1007 Flight right? Because of the Departure scan?
Yes, we should all be on CAO1007 based on the scan time.

Apple usually over estimates so yeah Id say you have a great chance.

Close to hitting 600MPH!!! OMG. That Quad-JET.. WOW

View attachment 969330

I know it seems fast but, when going with the jet stream (east), some planes can get to 700+. There was even a few freak passenger flights last year that nearly hit 800.

All depends on the wind speed and if you are going with or against. When I fly west from US to Asia, the flight is 1-2 hours longer due going against jet stream.

Speculation, but if that were true they would probably send those to stores. I think that would be cheaper than breaking down pallets and individually mailing them again. Cheaper to send in bulk to stores.

I believe that breaking up pallets is how UPS World Ease works, which is the product Apple is using to ship these. Everything is individually addressed in China, but then it's bundled up for shipment and customs. Once it hits Louisville, they're broken up and resorted for their destination.
