Also, I am still showing 10/21 delivery - between 11:15-3:15 (for whatever that is worth) - my guess is that changes at world port.

That said Prosser (love him or hate him) had some tweet a few days ago about Apple having a big meeting to talk product availability - everyone (including him - I think) thought it was iPad Air related. Maybe not . . .

I had a problem with my order with AT&T and had to cancel the order and retry through Apple at about 1:30pm PT Friday. Delivery now is Oct 28-30. No movement yet. Do I have a chance on getting it earlier?

Usually shipments a week out make it a day or two earlier, but not always. ::sigh::

If you have a local Apple Store, favorite your preferred iPhone in the Store app and check on it several times a day for local store pickup. I have often gotten my desired iPhone/Watch/iPad on launch day with this strategy.

One year I picked on up at Best Buy. That was the year I had to go with a different color and and a different capacity than I'd order. Since then I've had really good luck with orders through the iUP.

You then have to cancel your Oct28th order, and sometimes it is too late to cancel, but you can request to send it back or otherwise return it.

Occasionally I've had to wait till the day they originally predicted in my order, but it is really cool to get it earlier through perseverance.
